Thanks for nominating and picking and all the love!
(Updated last night. Not enough changes to replay the game, though.)

@Fuz: What part of the game are you referring to? (it's good to know)

Gamejolt requests:
*About fixing Parker's mask:
Spoiler
If you have the circuit, everything you need is in the tent.
Spoiler
You need to remove the old, burnt out circuit before putting in a new one.

...using Parker's tools.

You need the pliers. (use the tool rack twice)

Oh, thanks Captain!

I made a small update btw. Some fixes. No big things.
The old version can still be found on the indiedb page, if anyone need them.

Ok. I've been bothering Janet enough. She kindly referred me to her humble-port branch, but I can't make heads or tails of it since there (naturally) are no instructions for beginners like me. And it has to be compiled, as far as I can tell. So no rename-game-file-and-go.
Could someone help me out?
I suppose I'll be needing visual studio 2010? Do I get away with express? What files/directories should be included?

Semi off topic: The OSX versions of wadjets games on gog.com are apparently wineskin wraps, btw. Anyone having experience from porting with that?

Never mind the screenshots. Just finish the game! ;-D
Seriously, I think a lot of people are thrilled about this project being alive again. Including myself.

Sorry for the late reply.
@Alhanumbra & Meritili: This depends what you have done so far. Did you, for example...
Spoiler
...fix the comm circuit in Parker's mask (the one hanging on the wall in one of the tents)?
[close]
Or did you...
Spoiler
...find a way to log in to Chen's computer account?

@Fisha: In case you're still stuck. Here are some pointers:
Spoiler
Look at the fuse to the right of the row. I don't remember what it says, but that's the sum you are aiming for.
Spoiler
The little notes above each switch gives away how much it affects the sum (I suppose you already knew that).
[close]
Spoiler
The switches have three positions: Up = minus, down = plus and in between = neutral. I.e. set them so adding and subtracting the numbers equals the fuse's number. (Neutral position is not affecting the sum.)
[close]
Can't help you any more here, since I don't remember the numbers. Maybe someone else can spoon feed you properly.

Right. Draconian was only used for the fixed character scaling and the enabled gamma slider in windowed mode. So going from that to 3.2.1 should not be a problem.
I'll contact Janet about her port and see what she says.
#48
@BarbWire: Thanks for commenting & rating. And thanks for playing.

@CaptainD: I was only joking there (could not help myself). (laugh) You should cover the games you find interesting, and not the ones people nag you about.
#49
Jay! Thanks!
@IndieRetroNews: So that's why the indiedb popularity meter peaked the other day. ;-D That thing goed like a yo-yo.
@CaptainD: Just IndieGameNews left - COUGH - and we've almost covered the lot!
#50
Thank you guys. Slight info overload, but things are getting somewhat clearer. At least partially.
I'm pretty sure Draconian edition was based on 3.2.1 or at least that games can migrate between the two in either direction. Would this still need upgrading the engine port?
About "ac2game.dat": I got a little confused. Is ac2game.dat obsolete and replaced with *.ags, or is this just practice for future programming?
Sum up: So If I understood this right, there is no compiling of source code involved in porting a game, provided the game is made with a compatible version. Correct?

Your english is no worse than mine, really.

About knobs in the ship (request on gamejolt):
Spoiler
Yes, there is a certain way to turn the knobs on the panels.
If you zoom in on the computer screen (to the left of the door) you can navigate to a page with four red dots around a green square. Each of these dots will turn green when set in the right way. The dots are also visible when zoomed out.
I hope that helped.

@Pastschoco: Your question is not exactly crystal clear, but if I interpret you correctly:
Spoiler
You want to know if there is a scheme in connection to the hose puzzle. Yes there is. There's a list of schemes in the box's lid (on the floor). You can find the correct scheme by using the manual on it.
[close]
Spoiler
...And you want to know if the hoses have to be set up in a certain order. Yes they do. You need to connect the pairs in order. It doesn't matter which of the two taps in a pair you choose first.

Did that clarify things?

General Discussion / OSX porting for dummies?
Thu 04/06/2015 00:11:12
I have been trying to explore if porting a game to OSX would be possible and found very little, except old abandoned threads. Wadjet is apparently using their own port, but being a non programmer without a clue about how to go about it, I figured I need to dig into this a bit deeper before bothering them.
So, my question: Would porting a game to OSX be realistic for a non programmer, and if 'yes', where can I read about it?
#54
Well that looks simple enough.
Will definitely try it out.

Camp 1 is currently being featured on gamejolt!
Go check. Chop chop!

@Anke: What you're supposed to do now? Well, make a kick ass adventure game, of course!
@josiah: You know something I don't? :)
@Shadow: Glad you like it.
Spoiler
To avoid cluttering the game tips thread any further:
The People's Mining Company has reverted back to using age old porcelain fuses, possibly for reliability reasons (the high tech ones are too sensitive and keeps flipping all the time) or simply because they fond a large stack somewhere.

About the mast box:
Spoiler
The box is locked. You need to find the key.
Spoiler
The camp staff used to leave it in the lock.
Spoiler
...which makes its location a bit easier to figure out. (I should have made the sprite bigger. Sorry.)

Spoiler
Ok, you don't really find the key straight away. After all, it's supposed to be an adventure game. :)
But you did find something, right?

Quote from: Pastachoco on Wed 03/06/2015 12:28:38But reading this thread, it seems i'm the only one to be stuck on the simplest puzzles.
You're not the only one, I'm afraid.
Quote...I just don't know what to do since the control panel of the mast won't open and I think i tried all the things possibles in the rest of the camp..
What do the game notes say? (press "N")
Are the big lights outside still turned off? That means power is down. You need to find a way to turn it on again...

Quote from: Shadow1000 on Wed 03/06/2015 03:00:03I don't quite get why that's logical but oh well...
What are you talking about? It makes perfect sense. :-D

Thanks for your support guys!
@Gurok: Added on the games list.

The downloads link to indiedb now, instead of my mega slow onedrive account.
That, plus an itch and a gamejolt version should make it pretty bomb proof. Right?

Camp 1 - a short, dark story about bureaucracy, penal labor, isolation and desperation.

Former pilot, inmate Korski is doing his last ground-to-orbit shipment at the Camp 1 geological trial drilling site,

and things start going horribly wrong.

Features:
* 320 x 200 resolution
* Relatively low colour count
* Gamma slider, if you find it too dark (Alan v.Drakes build)
* No speech but sound effects
* A little help/note function

Good point. Added a couple of images. I'm a little worried that too many pictures might make ut cluttered.
