I’m gonna attempt to solve it.

Spoiler
The young woman contracted Covid-19. Due to the lockdown she is fearful of her financial prospects. Knowing that the disease is much less forgiving on elderly people, she decides to pay her old Grandad a ‘visit’. After all, she happens to know that he intends to leave her a considerable sum of money when he leaves. So she visits the old geezer, gives him a kiss, a cuddle and a few coughs in the face and then leaves, popping a few Lemsip tablets in her mouth on the way out.

Oh, seems heltonjon had the same idea as me while I was typing.

Did taking the pills have any effect on the murderer relevant to the murder?

Would the murderer have been unlikely to have carried out the murder if he had taken the pills earlier?

Did the murderer take the pills before carrying out the crime?

Did the murderer actually prevent himself from carrying out the murder (but was too late).

Was the victim asleep at the time of the incident?
#1143
Was the victim already in hospital?
Was the victim the grandparent of the murderer?
We’re the pills intended for the victim?
Is it because the victim didn’t take the pills that he died.
Could this killing reasonably be described as euthanasia?
#1144
Was the pill a drug used to steady the nerves or stop shaking?

Was the murderer a sniper.

Was the victim aware they were about to be murdered In the moments before the act?
#1145
Were the pills of a kind usually available over the counter in drugstores?
Were the pills of a kind that usually require a prescription?
#1146
Were there more than two people at the scene at the time of the murder?

I was thinking along similar lines but with bee stings, but we now know stings weren’t the cause, so it could be peanuts.

I need clarity on something, knowing that one pill would have been enough to carry out the crime:

Is the fact that there were two pills relevant?
#1148
Did the victim die as a result of one or more stings or bites?

Was the victim tricked into a bogus suicide pact?

Was money involved in the motive?
#1149
Are the victim and murderer related?

Did the pills contain some kind of technology?
#1150
Was it the ingredients of the pills that caused the victim’s death?

Thanks for your support, didn't expect to find the forum active after 16 years of absence.
I’m curious to know if you still remembered your password?

We were talking a few pages back about whether we knew anyone who has had/got covid-19. Well my sister seems to have it. She works in the care sector and was coughed on by a man elderly patient who had already tested positive. There was a cockup and she wasn’t fully protected before being bunged in the same room as him, then he coughed in her face. That was about two weeks ago and she said three days later her symptoms started. She only told me the other day and she’s already been through all the symptoms but now just has a lingering cough that she can’t shift. She’s said she’s pretty sure she’s over the worst of it but is staying careful.

I said “seems” above because the strange thing is that she has had two coronavirus tests and they both came back negative. But the doctor herself said the test is only about 70% accurate and basically told her to assume it is Covid-19 and isolate accordingly.

So, if it wasn’t for those darned negative tests, I’d be able to honestly say I know someone who’s had/got it. And I’m talking about my own twin sister, not some friend-of-an-uncle’s-dog’s-mother-in-law’. I’m in little doubt it was coronavirus. Get’s coughed on by known patient, gets Terrible symptoms days later.

I've run a query that should have replaced all inline usages of photobucket images (i.e. [img] and [imgzoom]) with just the URL.  Should remove this issue.
That’s a cool solution. Nice one.

If they can detect that then they should be able to give you a list of all the addresses where your pictures are being linked.

I’ve also got a few on here and elsewhere. I’ll have to scour my old Hotmail account for emails in the sea of spam.

I only found one email from 2017 saying that they are aware I’m using 3rd party hosting. No threats or anything. But I decided to log in and it’s all crap. A real mess. The only stuff worth saving is my Fuji Rock photos (which I surely have on a hard drive somewhere but wouldn’t hurt to save them again).

When I can get a moment I’m going to sit and save the things I want then delete my account.

I don't think so, as I just searched for and found some old OROW information in threads from 2005. But it differentiates between "search this topic", "search this board" and "search forums", depending on where you "are". The last option gives far more hits.
I had no idea that the search bar in the corner changes. I always assumed that it always searched the whole forum.

So in answer to my own question, you can search locked threads. I was just wrong. Move along. Lock this thread please. It’ll still be searchable.

Hehe, DBoy. The “Genre Shift” MAGS was in October, 2016 and featured only two entries, one of which was a Sonic game.
