Again with this obsession with branching narratives! No wonder they cancelled it after giving themselves X times as much work making stuff that only a fraction of the players will ever see.

Tycho's Coochie Cooochi Coo made me laugh the most. I'll vote for that.

Hey, Peds. Sorry you're leaving us, dude. I hope you pop back and say hi sometimes. Thanks for everything you've done with the archives and everything over the years. Don't stay a stranger, man. ❤️

Good luck with this new judge, man.

Thanks. It's working again now :-)

I always thought it was possible to drag it on my phone but it is also possible that I'm misremembering that.

Good work, AGA. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Not a major problem, but there's no longer that little thing in the bottom corner of text boxes that lets you expand the size of the box. I often find that quite useful.

On the forums, or main site?  Can you give some examples?  It's back on the forums now, at least.

I mean the boxes that you can input a block of text, like the box I'm using to type this exact message. Here's what I mean, from a Moodle page:

Now this forum doesn't have that. There is now a thing running along the bottom but nothing happens when I click on it:

The contest is officially over. Thanks to everyone who took part, even if you didn't quite manage to finish something. I have to wait until I'm in a better position time-wise in order to set up the voting, but please start playing the game and thinking about your favourite. Expect the poll some time in the next day.

@Shadow: Slasher or Mikeg May want to chime in but I would take those three points as mere prompts, based on the word ‘maybe'

The votes are in and we have a winner!
Well done to Cassiebsg and Morganw. You will be contacted soon about coming up with a theme for March.

Thanks to all participants and voters.

Topic: Crossover
Chosen by: Danvzare

Description:
The hot new trend recently has been cinematic universes. Everything's got to be connected to everything else! So that's why the challenge this month is to pick two or more works of fiction and combine them.

Do you have two games you made before that you want to make a sequel to? Then now's your chance!
Never made a game before? Then why not have Sherlock Holmes meet Dracula!
Don't have any art skills? Make a special crossover episode between Reality on the Norm and Maniac Mansion Mania!

The possibilities are endless! Just make sure it's combining two or more works of fiction, regardless of whether those works of fiction are games, movies, books, or comics, that you or someone else has made. As long as it's possible to see the original source materials, then you're good to go.

Special Guidelines:
If you're making a crossover/sequel to two of your past games. You are allowed to reuse the sprites from those past games, and if necessary, a background or two.
Of course, all publically available assets can be used at any time.

Just go to any pathway that leads to any human and then tell them what you want. Either they'll patch you through to the correct department or sometimes they can still help you. I've never worked in a call center so I might be talking rubbish but I'm pretty sure that sometimes the calls go to the same people anyway. It's just that they can put the right hat on before answering your call.

Well done, Dan. You will be messaged in Due course about coming up with a topic for January.

test

Okay. I'm in. I couldn't post yesterday.

I'm liking the new style buttons. They're pretty buggy at the moment but once it's all ironed out it'll make it must quicker to do from my phone rather than keep farting about with square brackets.

Cheers AGA

@Durinde - That might explain why no one laughs at my puns. They're just not paying attention. Sorry about that. I've changed the necessary bits.
