Did anyone experience anything strange when entering your predictions? I got a strange blank email with only the team names but all the fields empty (which is weird because the form has default values so it can't just be from someone pressingbsubmitbmy accident).

Oh and Dawson from Dawson's Creek was in Varsity Blues, so we've got a connection with the What's on TV thread.

Interesting strategy. Mind you, only 1/5 games thus far have ended in a draw. And only 1/12 of them finished 1 - 1. But, who ever listened to cold hard stats?

Yeah, it's the score at the regular full-time whistle that is counted.

If anyone is thinking of dropping out because they are too far behind, remember that from now on points are doubled. So anything can happen.

Theoretically the window for the next round is open when the previous round is concluded and we know all the fixtures.

In reality the might be some waiting time while I sort out the website and open up the link to the new prediction page.

Today that wait will be like 10 minutes because I'm up until 5am, watching the football. For other rounds, it might take a few hours. But there's always a day or two break between rounds, so you have plenty of time. Just keep checking the link.

@Creamy - Are you gonna be gone for the rest of the tournament or just this coming round? If you PM me for the fixtures we already know I'll put them in for you :-)

Yeah, I'm also struggling to come up with a good twist. Between them, M. Night Shyamalan and Saw have already done them all.

Both my dads used to be plumbers. They found all sorts of crap on their duties. Once, this dying creature followed them home. Looked like it had been jumped on. Anyway, I never told my dads that I'd decided to keep it, but it died after few days so I made this neat book mark out of it. Please find it a good home.

Day 14. Cat wins the day again with one point from each game. Her tactic of betting against Germany has paid off.

Maybe I'm sensitive now but what really grinds my gears is when someone has written a really long post in a forum (that can also grind my gears if the point they want to make could've been done in the last 2 sentences or so) and people must quote the entire post only to say "I totally agree" not even adding something to the post...ooooh how it grinds my gears.

Basically I'm pre-empting any extension request and giving you an extra 24 hours whether you like it or not. I'm not going to have time to set up the voting and stuff until the next day.
