I'm guessing that the lack of activity in this thread following episode 2, The Hounds of Baskerville, means that I'm not the only one who thought this was a pretty disappointing episode?

I feel sorry for anyone who tries to do a forum search for posts about Blade Runner.

I haven't got a clue about this one, but look! That lamp/globe/thing has a nipple! \:D/

Modern Moriarty sucks. He looks like crazed, overworked, spoilt-kid stock broker and not the evil genius.
That was also my only "complain" of this awesome serie...

Yeah, I'm kind of in agreement there.  He's just seems like some rich kid who's off his tits and playing big-boy games.  Doesn't seem like someone with the potential to outwit Sherlock.

You people are terrible.

There's terrible and then theres choosing not to use Google's 'search by image' fucntion. ;)

I havn't got much time to mess about, so if anyone needs a clue, the actress was famous for taking part in British TV's first lesbian kiss. :P I think she helped me on my way to puberty...

I haven't seen either of the movies.  Don't really care too much.  But the BBC show really is just great.  The episode we've just seen was so full of twists and sleights of hand, it was a joy to be led down so many garden paths by some of the best writing on television today.

It seems Sherlock himself, Mr Bendy Cummerbund, has landed himself the role as Star Trek 2's main baddy.

I don't know the film but I know the actress's name.  :-X
If nobody gets it soon I'll Google her.

It's all my fault :o
It always seems to happen after I've done a forum search...

General Discussion / Platform Expo 2012
Wed 04/01/2012 14:43:03
Is anyone thinking of attending Platform 2012 in March?

It's in the 17th and 18th of March at the University of Hull.
There will be a number of interesting speakers, including BOTH Steve Ince and Charles Cecil.

I'm seriously considering it; Just depends on fund, studies etc, but tickets aren't too expensive and there's a further discount for booking online before the end of January.  It would be cool if some other AGSers came along.  :=

[Update]
I'll take that as a no, then  :-\

I think there are some attempts at "Joke" games that pulled off pretty well.  How about Crackwell Unhinged?  That was hilarious.  Fair enough, you could argue that it's going to appear in the 'short game' category anyway, and that if I love it so much I should vote for it... but I might want to use my vote in that category for a more serious game, but still think Crackwell deserves recognition for just being a light-hearted, spoofy piss-take.

I think I did miss the point in my previous post, but I still think (regardless of any "joke/p3n15/worst game" category) that a seperate "funny/humour/comedy" category would be a great idea.

Wasn't there a tunnel part in Pink Floyd The Wall?

That was the first film I thought of when I saw the screenshot, too.  But in that scene there is a train, whereas this screenshot has no tracks.

As for the new screenshot... Is that Korean I spy above the shop there?

I possibly wasn't around (or was very new) when this "P3N15" controversy occurred so maybe I'm missing the point, but why not have a category for 'Funniest Game' or 'Best Humor/comedy in a Game' that awards genuine attemtps at making games funny?  This would avoid accusing a game of being a "joke" and upsetting anybody.

I haven't got time for a screenshot either, so how about a quick quote while we're waiting for someone who has...

I was about to Google "dolly" "very special girl" "period drama", but decided that would look bad if the police were to ever get hold of my hard drive.

Superb!  Been waiting all year for this and it didn't disappoint.
I'm really enthousiastic for next week's episode :-)
