@Andail.  I read the Secret History a couple or so years ago.  It's up there among my favourite books.  It's true Tartt does waffle on about irrelevent details, but somehow I wouldn't have it any other way. The story was fantastic.  Have you read The Little Friend as well?  That's good too (although I still need to finish it).

I'm from Sussex, which is pretty southern. I don't speak like a cockney but I'm not posh either.  I don't have a mic apart from the one built into my laptop, but if you're not too fussed about sound quality I'll be willing to have a bash.

Time for my annual show-an-interest-in-attending-Mittens-but-probably-won't-be-able-to-go post.

San Fransicso is one of the places I most want to visit so if Mittens was to be held there (or within a few hours drive) I'd be well up for going*, but as usual, I have no way of knowing what my finanical situation will be.

If all goes to plan, I should graduate in the summer and I have no idea what (if anything) I'll be doing for work after that, so I'm ages away from being able to commit to anything.  Maybe I should try to find a job in whichever country/city Mittens is being held, then I could co-host... or at least show my face

I'm native English, but I always have subtitles running as well as the voice-acting when both are available.  I dont alwasy catch everything that's being said, due to noises outside or just my own hears playing tricks on me, and very often you cant rewind an adventure game or repeat the same bit of dialogue, so its useful to have the text there too.

Nopes. I cant get to a computer til after 2gmt but until then heres a clue. The film title begins with S and is 2 wordr. But if i gave you the 2nd initial it would be to easy.
