In dbuske's defence he is making short documentaries, not games, so why should he put them in the Games in Production forum?  Especially since whenever he has posted in the correct forum he has been flamed for not providing screenshots (which to be fair he should have learned by now).

:o i think some people need to chill out and not take forums so seriously!
Threads like this come around once in a while, and they probably always make the AGS forums look like a place full of rules, regulations and uptight pedantic bastards, but that's really not the case at all.  We just want to encourage people to use their goddam noggin before they post.

Welcome to AGS Mr. Bailey. You have been warned  :=

Haha, Ben, you even have the bottom end of the list covered in case someone chooses to browse the game catalogue backwards :)

I've yet to finish a game so I'm not overly qualified in this area, but here are my thoughts.

Of my many doomed-to-fail projects, I think 'The Window-cleaner's Apprentice' was the best title.  It's a neat take on title's such as The Sorcerer's Apprentice and the like, only with a more contemporary twist.

Other canned (for now) projects include 'Bastard!' which was meant to be a reimagining of Virgin's 'How to be a Complete Bastard' which if you haven't played yet, you must, and 'Ouija', which isn't an overly original title, but leave you in know doubt as to what kind of game it's going to be.

One of the worst titles for a project I have ever come up with was 'The Magic Cupboard', which I later changed to 'Escape from the Magic Cupboard'... which was still crap.

If you're making a series, I much prefer the Blackwell/Bourne school of naming (looking forward to The Blackwell Ultimatum  ;) ) as opposed to just 1, 2, 3.

Human Centipede... yeah, now I'm usually not one to shy away from outrageous, disgusting and offensive movies, as long as it's a good laugh, or in some way meaningful... but THC sounds to me like the big-screen equivalent of '2 Girls 1 Cup', which I regret ever watching, and don't intend to make the same mistake twice.

Haha, lovely. I played this twice.  First time I failed miserable.  Second time I kicked ass.... Although you should be able to choose your party... I may have won, but I won as David Cameron, which didn't really feel like a win, haha at all.  :-\

Doesn't this just mean 'anything'?  :P

I'm a bit dubious about going up to the helipad at this juncture... that smacks of Boss Battle, and I'm not sure we're ready for that yet.

I vote farm.  Might be able to get our hands on some fertilizer to make a bomb.

Bailey, do you work for a website called Wimdou? or has one of us been attacked with malware that randomly inserts the word wimdou, and links to 'wimdu.co.uk'?

Take one of the meats down and pocket the meathook... You just know you're gonna need a hook at some point.

Nah, not Bernies either.  There seemed to be two main guys... Pretty sure at least one of them was white but the other may or may not have been of an ethnic variety.  All I can remember is the first scene, these guys wake up, the house is a mess, their friend is dead and the guy who's house it is gets a phonecall from his parents saying they're coming back early from holiday and will be home soon.

I could be well off, but I want to say that the dead guy's name is Bob... it's either that, or it's some nickname like 'Breadknife', and I'm also haf tempted to suggest that the  dead guys name is in the title of the film.

I think it might be a fairly recent film, as it was on my sister's BT Vision package about 3 months ago... actually... I could look there for clues...
#5694
Haha, no, it's not that.  The one I'm thinking of is more of a stoner movie, and it's a guy who is dead.  In the opening scene it's a typical post-house-party scene with plastic cups all over the place and probably bong water spilt everywhere.

Is that a gun he's pointing at you, or his business card?
If it's a gun, push one of the lumps of meat at him to knock it out of his hands and then pick it up, point it at him and ask HIM the questions.

I'm trying to remember the name of a film I watched about 10 minutes of before having to turn it off for being total crap.

It's about a couple of kids who have a house party, and the film begins on the morning after the party and one of their friends has died and the parents are due back later that day... so instead of reporting the death they... I have no idea what they do because I turned it off.

But believe me, hilarity does not ensue...

It might be called something like 'Spring Break' or 'House Party' but I think it's got the dead guy's name in it, like 'Bob's Dead!' or something like that...

Anyway, if anyone has seen this film, or know the title, let me know. Cheers :-)

Also a Johnny Depp lover, but I'm really big on Leo DiCaprio at the moment.

I don't really have a favourite actress anymore... My automatic stock answer always used to be Sandra Bullock, but I don't think that's the case any more...

I call it a 'pen lid'... Can't speak for my fellow Englishmen, though.

This phrase 'after the fact'.  I've been hearing it more and more in the past year or two.  I can't explain why but it's just horrible. :-X

Thumbs up if you agree!
