I think they still publish games under the 'Adventure Company' banner, don't they?  I've seen the logo on some pretty recent releases.

You use the word 'episode', but just to be clear are you talking about episodes in the sense that they will be released weeks or months apart from each other?  If that's the case I'm not sure a password system would be the best format.  The password is a reward, so to be rewarded with a password that is useless for another two weeks would, I imagine, be quite frustrating for the player (viewer?)

If, however, you plan to release them all at the same time, then it's not really such a problem, because the player can be immediately rewarded for his completion of the previous part.

I've had possibly the shittiest month and a half of my life and it's not finished yet.
My "year abroad" in Japan has been left in tatters... not by the quake itself (clearly that couldn't be helped and far more people have suffered far worse than me as a result), but by some very bad decision making by my university, which has simply caused me more effort and administrative hassle than anyone should have to bother with.  I won't go into it here but for the general gist, read the penultimate and antepenultimate posts in My Blog.

On top of that, which I haven't mentioned in the blog, is that I've had to go to the doctors for a problem 'downstairs' and he's sending me for a scan... I'm sure is nothing serious, but it's going to delay my return to Japan even more... To say this month has been a 'ball-ache' is an understatement  

'bullying' might be the wrong word for this particular situation, but monkey, with respect, you do have one of the guy's quotes as your signature.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing the intention behind displaying said quote in said signature was for it to be picked up on and laughed at by anyone else who might find it funny.  You certainly didn't put it there for its profundity.

If I were a more sensitive soul and someone used one of my quotes in such a way, I'd be hard pressed to convince myself I wasn't being a tad picked on...

[As I mentioned before; Let's say somebody thought this thread was about them (even though no names were mentioned) and they post in here to proclaim their innocence and try to justify their troll behavior.  This is trolling.

Not necessarily.  It could just be a guy quite rightfully trying to defend himself, because an entire new thread has been created for the sole purpose of calling him a troll.  Unfortunately, the accused troll in question has been forced into a position of having to constantly explain himself and defend his every move, and each time he does that, his post is picked apart for grammar and spelling errors and he is forced to explain himself again and ad infinitum.

He's only a troll insofar as he's been given that label.  But if we take away that label for a minute, what we've really got is just a highly enthusiastic and energetic young game-developer in the making, who's unfortunately not brilliant at spelling.

You've been pushed into being a bit more articulate, which is great. I agree you're not a troll (any more). However, although people are teasing you, everyone is encouraging you to just settle down and focus on making games.

Don't get stressed out. Just remember that there are a bunch of people here waiting for you to surprise them one day with a cool completed game.

I agree.  You've got something a lot of people (myself included) lack: the motivation to actually bother doing anything.  People seem to be teasing you're Facebook experiment, but I was personally a tad impressed, despite its problems.  You clearly enjoy what you're doing and at times you show a kind of vision that I almost envy.  I too am looking forward to your magnum opus.

I doubt I'd ever really use it, but it's a fun experiment.  Hats off to you, mate.

Have you thought about adding the capacity for custom skins?  That would be a cool (if not entirely necessary) feature.

I need ideas for Documentaries to make.  What are all of you interested in knowing about?

I had an idea a little while ago, but I'd never do it myself, so maybe you could consider it.

A kind of meta-documentary documenting the process of making a documentary, using your very documentary as the focus of itself.
You would interview various film-makers and documentists(?) about the processes involved, from coming up with an idea, finding sources, interviewing people, writing, filming, editing, etc.  The film not only documents these techniques and advice, but itself becomes the product of what it is documenting.

I actually have, lately, taken an interest in removing ALL spam from my mailbox.

I have a gmail 'spam' account that is something.spam(at)gmail.com (something is obviously something else, I just don't want to list it in here) which has filters on it that just delete anything that comes to somethingspam(at)gmail.com (without the . in the middle) because Spammers will remove the dots because they know people use them to filter their emails.  Anything that comes to something.spam(at)gmail.com gets FWD'd to my personal address and immediately labeled 'Non-Friends' and skips the inbox.  So if I'm 'out' and someplace asks for the email I refuse, if they insist (saying they need it) they get "blah dot spam at gmail dot com"... it's so fun to see the looks on their faces when I say it.

If I sign up for something online (or order from a website) I add +website before the @gmail.com so like; something.spam+thinkgeek@gmail.com ... in this way when I receive spam email that isn't from think geek but has the +thinkgeek in the address I know they sold my email address (I doubt think geek would do so, I just used it as an example).

The only problem is that these scum-bag low-life spammers know these tricks ... so if/when they see the +website or the dots in the address they can work around it.  However ... since putting this system in place my 'spam' label in my personal gmail inbox has gone from about 30/day to about 6-10/day ... so it is effective.

The only thing that still causes spam is that my friends/family still sign up for shit online and give out my personal email address in those 'recommend to friends'.  I have told them all time and time and time again to NEVER give out ANYbody's personal addresses but they still do it.  I am working on a fix to this as well but Google hasn't added the 'whitelist' feature to the gmail inbox.  Once they do that my plan will be complete!!

That seems like an awful lot of effort... I've coped 15 or so years of email usage on this clever funtion called 'delete'.  Granted, my 12-year-old hotmail account is now drowning in spam, but these days I deliberately use that address as a dumping ground,  for signing up to stuff that I think will cause a lot of unwanted emails.  I've been using Gmail now for maybe 2 years?  And I think I could count on one hand how many peices of actual spam I have had in that time.

In order to speed up the egg-laying process, you have to inject the chicken with a special 'egg-quickening serum', but you happen to know that the side-effect of using such a serum will cause the chicken a lot of pain and it will eventually die once the eggs have been laid... and to make things more evil, in order to get to the chicken coup, you must kill a lonely old farmer.

Whoever designed the quiz has a twisted idea of what the word 'percent' means.
