To anyone who might be interested, I haven't given up on this project.  I've been in Tokyo and I shall be here for probably another 2-3 months, but as soon as I get home I'll be back on the case.

Reading it back after a few months I've realised the storyline is a bit crap, so I might come back to it with a new story, but the backgrounds will stay.

Seeing as though this has been bumped I might as well mention that This game is next on my list, followed by Stargate... I'm currently playing Infinity String and it rules.

Hmm, it still looks more H-esque to me, If I buy HecroQuest.com how much will you pay me for it?

Theres really nothing major wrong with this background at all, I really like it.  A bit of polish is all that's needed... as for the crate and the doors, why don't you just try using whatever technique you used on the counter, that works pretty well, although it does seem to be floating slightly.. not sure why.

I'll think about it -> but i don't know if i will make another game... Don't worry, not because of your critics, but it just take soo much time, and I really had to force myself to complete this game.

This is one of the best games of the year.  Okay so theres a bit of a lack of depth in the dialogue... but other than that I'm really enjoying it and the graphics are beautiful... you know you don't have to do it all yourself... I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be willing to work with you on your next project to take the load off and speed things up a bit.   But don't quit now, please.

That is why i didn't add movie to the game, as some people have problems playing it, still you can try the game without seeing intro....

Ok, I'll start playing it soon, but could I ask a request?
Do you reckon you might be able to somehow put the intro onto youtube or something similar so those of us having video problems could still see it?
In your own time, of course, just a suggestion, really.
Just it'd be a shame not to be able to experience such an awesome-looking game with all the trimmings.

This game looks top.

However I don't want to start playing it until I've seen the Intro movie.
Unfortunately my poxy little laptop won't let me watch it nd I've tried 3 different media player, downloading codecs left right and center and nothings working?
Do you have a stream of the video on YouTube or anywhere that I could watch?
Or does anyone know why the movie won't work for me?

I'm gonna repeat here what I've already told Jburger in a PM.

It took me a few too many goes to complete due to lack of brain cells and no coordination, but I finally managed it.

The ending was brilliant and the game as a whole is excellent.  I look forward to seeing more from you in the not-too-distant future.

Another thing... I really liked the effect of the room lightening and darkening when you open and close the door... nice touch you dont often see in AGS games.

A little (okay, big) hint if you're having trouble to shoot the soldiers:

Wait for them to get closer down the road, perhaps near the car, aim for the head, and use breathing to your advantage.

Once a guy starts shooting at me I can't win because he always keeps shooting me before the breathing is ready for me to pick him off.

This game is great in every way... but... I can't kill all the soldiers without getting killed first.  I'm not saying you should make it easier because everyone else seems to have coped alright, but it's a shame because it means I can't play the rest of the game.
Curse me and my lameness at shooting games.

I just got the confirmation Email from when I ordered the full version of SJM back in January.

Actually looking back at the messages, they we're actually that nasty... maybe they are kinder on talk board than on the Picture board... they can be really mean on there if you make one spelling error or post something slightly too large or anything.. it's like treading on eggshells posting on there.

I've sorted it.  I don't know why I didn't think to do this beforehand, I just downloaded it from Limewire.... bit risky i know, couldve been a virus or anything, but it seems it was the real deal because my webcam and Skype are getting on the the proverbial house on fire.

Scotch - Good link mate, I praise you.  But I just clicked on it and it said it was going to take about 7 hours to download?.... is this normal for DiectX or was my computer just having a funny five minutes?

Boyd - Good Idea about using MSN, but it's been bad enough trying to help them set up Skype from the other side of the world, my family aren't a very comuter literate bunch of folks.
