Are you sure you're talking about the right guy? SilverTrumpet's sprite...

You calling me a guy? :O :P

Whoa... that was fast. Good theme idea, I'll start on it right away!

I've never heard of Siberia, but I know Myst has always been a 'family favourite'. My dad loves them, and would sit for hours at a time playing it. I started it too, then we spread it around to the other relatives. The thing I like about Myst is that it's kinda lonely. I don't know a way to better describe it. I like seeing a game like that where you don't need to worry about other characters (except for those creepy guys in the books. Funny story there), and I think the graphics were pretty neat. I remember laughing hysterically over something the blue book guy said... back in the day... haha. The Myst -and further sequels- always felt like a place you could actually visit. A very well-done game, IMO.

Why not contribute to the Sphinx project with your itchiness?

You mean 'Awakening of the Sphinx'? Is that your game? Can I help?Ã,  ;D

All the messages hoping I make another game kinda gave me the itch...

Haha, I definately haven't had that, but I miss the constant work and the planning, even though it sounds odd...

I am totally untalent to drawing characters...

I know that whenever I'll come up with something decent, as I said, Fender said she'd draw for me. Makes it easier since we live in the same house.Ã,  ;D But if anyone has an idea they want to start on I'm sure we can all work as a team.

EDIT: I also meant to add that I have this urge to re-do KQ 6 (definately a favourite), definately nothing serious. I found this site a while back with all the soundtracks and lines from a lot of Sierra games and I could use those :P

If anyone's ever played 'Shivers' it's full of tough puzzles like that. Some of them are for opening doors, or making certain pots or lids available, or whatever (I haven't played the game in a long time). The game, IMO, is supposed to be more focused on those puzzles (although they shouldn't've been so hard), and I guess only those kinds of games should do that.

Yeah, so a little while ago I finished my game, and now I have this really weird urge to just start something else, and use everything I've learned. Something a lot larger scale than what I just did. But I cannot think of a story line for the life of me! Anyone else have such an 'itch'? (If so, maybe we can come up with stuff as a team! I've already got a decent artist :P)

Okay, it isn't the greatest. But that's what practice is for. In case you couldn't tell, it's a girl and the weather whoosh! She's just goin' so fast.....!
EDIT: Gotta fix that. It'll be done.
EDIT: It is done

I would be interested in joining something like this, but I just can't think of anything to write for it. Perhaps others can't either, and that's why you have no entries? :-\ Maybe if you changed the topic you'd have more participation. :)

Yay! It's done! I know it goes fast, and I'll fix it if there's time. (Is that allowed? It's only my first entry. ;D)

Edit: (I hope that's okay..) I slowed it down and added another frame

I've uploaded it, and it should work perfectly now! (That is, I ran it without unzipping it, and it worked. But it should still be fine!  ;D)

Gilbot's suggestion worked, except I used a different upload site. Thanks so much for the help! Finally it's playable!

Thanks, I'll check it out!
#494
I would love to do this, but I have no idea how. Do you need a special program? (Sorry if this is considered spam)
#495
Anyone think we can request this one back without irritating anyone? I see that others are quite reluctant to let it go...

It's all english. 'JoshandDyan.zip'

Yay silver! (I always get confused when I see your name. I think 'Hey.. I never posted there.' But then I see the 'Wizard'.  :-[)

Today.
;D
Well, this is an amusing thread. Odd that it's allowed, considering all the strict rules around here. Oh well, a little fun never hurt. Now for the real stuff. Today I hope to find out why my game folder isn't co-operating. Today my grandparents are coming over. Today my monitor turned back to normal after I slapped it bumped the computer table.  :)

Ah.... I'm gonna miss this competition. It was the first one I found interesting, and I even read through all the old ones.  :(

Oh sorry. Didn't realize how unclear that was.  :-[ What I meant to say was that I have uploaded this game like 5 times and there's always something wrong with it. The last 3 times have told me that my folder was corrupt, but yet it works when I use it from the harddrive. That should be clearer.

I hope the colours make sense. My monitor is retarded.

I hope it's okay that I randomly joined in!Ã,  :)
