Hi. There's a couple ways to rotate pixel art in photoshop.
Edit > Preferences > General > Change image interpolation to Nearest Neighbor.
If you don't like how it turns out, you can do it like this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljikEAfnfUA

General Discussion / Coming back to AGS :)
Fri 27/02/2015 06:24:35
Wow.. I have been away since 2009. Time flies. Hello everyone!
This used to be my home for a long time, and then I suddenly disappeared. Life happened. :)
Today I feel it's time to get back into AGS and the community around it. ^^

I don't know if anyone remembers, but I made a font pack that became popular back in the day. The DoTT fonts were probably the biggest hits. The link to the pack had probably been dead for years though so I can't get a hold of it.
So I just wanted to check with you guys if there's anyone who still has them lying around somewhere. I've seen them in a lot of games, especially back then, so I'm hopeful. :)

[edit] Oh I found the fonts after some searching. I feel silly ^^

Hehe I had lots of fun with him but since I suck at writing I might as well give it away. :\

I want to contribute with this character but i don't know a good place to upload it.

He's got talk and walk cycles in all directions.
#25
Allright :)
How long should the compo be?
#26
Ooh i know just the song I want to enter with. Expect a little tune from me. ^^
#27
Awesome! Now I can play! Muahaha!
#28
Hahaha, thank you! I didn't expect such kind words. <3

Well.. since no one has even replied, I figured what the heck.. I'll do a little quickie for this one. It's a bit late perhaps but who cares when the thread is empty? ^^

Argh i didn't get far in the game before it started running very slow. Loved the setting and dialog so far though. Sadly, I can't play it on this computer. :(

Heheh that squid is pretty cool. ^^
You can animate in Zbrush but it's not like in other 3d programs. There's a tutorial on the forums called something like "animating using layers". Go check that out.

I wonder if this will change the way we cooperate while making games in a group. I got some invites anyways.

I would like to store some character files so that people can download them. It's for the contribution thread. Does anyone know a good free host?
#36
I'd have to say that it's way too small to even figure out what I'm looking at.

#37
Awesome. Now get going and make some walk cycles! ^^
#38
Heheheh I got time enough for more than one project. Besides, it's good to do different things. ^^

I'd try making the shadows less saturated or it will look like rubber or something glowing. Also flip the back view since he is holding the robe with his left arm on all frames but the back frame.

I don't believe this question warrants it's own thread, since I imagine there are only a hand full of applications that fit my needs.  So I figured I'd ask here.

What is a VERY EASY 3D Character Modeling Program? (Free or not)
I plan on making a few characters with basic detail, nothing too extreme.  Basic shadows, and texture mapping is all I need.  I don't have a lot of 3D experience.  The only 3D programs I've really played with are: Halflife Hammer editor, Rhinoceros 3D (a little), and Google Sketch.  I've never really touched any complex shapes much beyond rectangles, cylinders, etc.

Try Zbrush. You can model, paint and rig to a skeleton for posing. The program can be very easy or very complex depending on what you want from it. The best thing about it imo is that the workflow is really fast and allows for my creativity to come to life without much setting up. There is a great community and lots of helpful tutorials on their site.
