I've got an idea for a short game that I know I'll be able to finish with everything I have going on this month. It's called "Ratz! The Big Show"
Life's not easy when you're a rock band made up of rats, especially when you're lead guitarist has lost his guitar. You play as the guitarist and have to go around the house to find small household items that can be made into a rat sized guitar.

I have AP testing and final exams coming up this month, but I will try my best to make an entry, even if it has to be super short. The fact that we can use pre existing graphics will really help me out with this!

Hey, I want to know if anyone who has played the game has found the secret ending?

Alright. I went and added sound and fixed a bug that someone had already found so here it is.

Slay the Dragon II

You are hunting down a dragon. Find a way to get into its temple and defeat it once and for all.
This is a sequel to a REALLY bad game i made in about an hour a while ago.

I hope you all enjoy it, I had a lot of fun making it.

Here is the page in completed game announcements.

Here is the game page.

Great! I'm gonna add some sound to it and then fix any bugs that have been found and then I'll officially submit it.

Oh dang, I just realized that the last game I made is a sequel to a previous game and was started and completed entirely in April. I wasn't thinking of Mags when I made it, but would you guys be okay if I submitted it as an entry?

Spoiler
There are a number of places that you can die. It asks if you want to restore but if you click restore, the list of saved games is empty, even though I saved the game a few times. I started over and THEN restored. You may want to look into this.

Hmm that's pretty strange, I'll have to look into it.

Alright, I changed the post a bit to make it easier to view.

After a long period of peace, a dragon has started attacking villages and burning their crops. You must find the dragon and defeat it.

This is a sequel to a crappy game I made a while ago. I hope you guys enjoy it :)

Edit: Since it fit all of the requirements of this month's MAGS, I have decided to submit it as an entry. I added sound and fixed the restore game bug.

In my game, I want a cart to move to the side of the screen while animated. I can currently get it to animate on its one or move on its own, but i can't figure out what I would do to make it move and animate at the same time. I would make the cart a character and have it walk, but I need the cart to be able to turn visibility on and off.
Thank you.

Thank you all for your helpful replies, I got it fixed.

I know there is probably an obvious answer that i am missing, but can anyone tell me how I make it so that an event is only able to happen one time? In my game the character is able to interact with a vein of coal in a cliff face to pick up a piece of coal, but this happens whenever you interact with the vein, even if you already have the coal. This creates duplicates and the coal ends up staying in your inventory even after it was supposed to disappear. What do I need to do in order to make it so that you can only pick up the coal once, and maybe every other time you interact with it it just tells you that you don't need anymore?
Thankyou

I went in and blended together the rest of the image. I like the painted look it has.

I just got a smudge plugin and darkened up the first two trees. I tried to show the curve of the tree more in the shading.

Oh I understand. And  I am using a tablet, I'm just not sure how to use paint.net to the best of its abilities.

I just made a background and would like to hear your thoughts on it.
Here is two versions

The second is the original
The first is a lower resolution that makes the shading look better

Thoughts? I personally am questioning the black outline, I think it fits in the larger version, but not as much in the smaller version.

Hello, I have just started to make a science fiction game called Star Voyager. You are a crew member on a starship called the Voyager, and you come across a rift in space that teleports you to a planet away from the rest of the crew.

I can handle making the backgrounds and coding the game but I need someone to help make the sprites and animations for all of the characters. The game is 320x240.

Here is a picture of the starting room on the ship. I would like the sprites to be simplistic with not a whole lot of shading.

PM me if you would like to help.

Thankyou!
