I still prefer the “less clothes”-look

To get  the color near the secret agents-style and nature:
How about two kinds of green? Real camouflage-style would be great, but terrible to animate. But with two different greens it would be similar and also more near to nature without making her looking pale (btw. - you could also darken the skin a bit and use a not so strong white).

I'd like to see a bit  “life” on the wings. Like adders on a leave â€" at least some, or will the wings become a slightly transparent color? In that case, just some (about three?) little dots would do.

Edit:
played around with it a bit and hope you don't mind:
comic coloured    more camouflage-like            and the innocent, fresh white

about burned cork
Spoiler
I don't know your inventory, but I am pretty sure, you already got it. Not that obviousely, but still  â€" a lot of the inventory items are worth a second look.

@Tabata: Dont know how you helped me...
Spoiler
I just tried to tell you, that it will last a long time until you need to go into those directions and because I know that it is not very helpfull to read only: "Don't care about it now" I also wanted to give you a clue, when it will be possible to go on - so just to be remembered, when you'll realize, that you reached that point, but still can't make it. If so, that would be the time to ask again.

Glad you are making progress on your (long!) journey and Romeo will be happy to read you are enjoying and like the puzzeles.

a general hint about dialogs
Spoiler
Sometimes you'll get new dialogs after you did something somewhere else â€" that way you sometimes  get hints about what to do next.

Since it doesn't sound like you feel stuck in Venice, I don't leave a hint about that right now, but I am not english, so if I misunderstood your post about this, just call

A bit more skin is okay for a small  fairy ...

like this, but made better of course
[imgzoom]http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/884/characterblankclothesta.png[/imgzoom]

... and changing the colours of clothes and hairband to white
it looks more fresh and innocent. Well, I'd like it.

(made the white version, too, but lost it in a crash, sorry)

about cave-entry and red berries

No need to worry about right now ~ but don't tell the others  ;)

If you really want/need a “bit” more specific clue about when you should begin to worry ...
(I'll try not to give away too much)
Spoiler
red berries  ~  at some point in the game you will have earned some money for other reasons. Just some more actions from that you might be able to get them.

cave-entry  ~   hold it in mind during the play as one of your goals (not to miss hints), but as long as you haven't been "successfully" to Egypt, you don't have all the things needed to get in.

Ahh â€" okay!

Just to mention it:
There are a lot of hotspots to explore you can't really interact with (at first!),
but often it will  be of use to remember them later on in the game - when the time is right
#1247
Hmmm â€" I'd like to give some help, but I don't understand the problem with the not labeled items/objects you told about.

When hoovering with the cursor over an item in the inventory the name of it is shown at the bottom of the screen without the need of an action.  Also you can pic the item (left-click) and move it to the eyes-symbol to get more information/a description about it.

Outside the inventory are hotspots for all the objects/characters... to interact with and the names are to be seen without doing an action (right-click to look at and left-click to use/talk). Possibly you didn't realize it appearing at the bottom of the screen?

a hint about getting the knife

First step is ...
Spoiler
... to think about a way to get it out without carying it with you, when leaving the tavern. That's half the way.

When you have figured that out ...
Spoiler
... there is a clever timing needed, too.

Yeah â€" You made it!

It has been a pleasure goin' to hell and out while testing it
Even if I am still going crazy with those arcade-parts

There are a lot of clever puzzles and not only those depending to the daytime can get really tricky sometimes.
But with a little persistence and searching you often should be able to find a hint in game to proceed.

Something recommended for real adventurers!
Will you make it through this hellish trip?

Only if you try  (laugh)

@Tabata - Sorry Tabs, I stick to my guns. You can leave the house without a passport, but you can't leave the country (or can you in within the EU?) :P
Yes, of course I can !

Spoiler
If I want to visit Arj0n, at the border there are just some signs reminding me entering the Netherlands. There's noone who wants to see my passport.
And if you don't use the highway, the signs are sometimes that easy to miss, you don't even realize it at first

My english isn't good enough to explain it exactly, but it's based on the Schengen agreement

But there is an obligation to provide positive identification (in case of a control by police, customs and such) so you did it well  - I just loooove teasing (laugh)

It's always fun to play with you  (laugh)

Heeeey â€" that riddle is not fair!

Quote from: Stupot+ on Fri 27/07/2012 01:53:21Just as close, but equally not what I have in mind. Pay closer attention to the last clue of the riddle.
I did, I did!
A and since I leave the house without the passport but not without the creditcard ...
and not to forget: I don't have a passport with a chip

So I only could give the creditcard a go

... and I won't confess, that we do have passports with a chip since November 2010 over here (so my next one will be like this, too)   â€" NEVER

For example the knoledge base.
Not that I don't like her, but she comes up for every search term you type in,
telling me that the page doesn't exist

I think improving the manual is necessary, too!
I'd appreciate an easy to use version (current and with a working search function).  (roll)

It's kind of the bible for people around here and it should get proper attention and care.

Hmmm, I wouldn't call it “drawing” - but if you insist:

Next:  A cow under the see in a wet suit.     "... blub, blub ... "
