Good luck for finishing this game!

It looks wonderful! ... and these backgrounds â€" wow â€"  :o
Just the kind of game I really like to play!

. . . go, go, go . . .

It's very cold (not only) in my country and after the freezing theme of the last jam we may like something to warm up our hearts, so let's imagine or look out for the love to be seen all around us. It comes along in a lot of colors and shapes!

I want you drawing a character or more (the kind is up to you) who/which has just fallen in a „very special“ love.

Some suggestions to give you a clue, about what I mean:
Spoiler
A robot which has fallen in love to a toaster, a mouse hugging a big piece of (stinking) cheese, a zombie giving his heart away (literally!) ...

You are allowed to use one of those, also.

Sprite resolution and color depth are not specified. Backgrounds and animation are optional. There is no size limit.

The competition will end on 18th of Feb. at midnight (forum-time).

You already prooved, that you have a lot of fantasy  â€" show us something extraordinary or classic romantic, but special ;) â€" what ever you prefer.
Hope you have some fun!

As a little appetizer I have some trophies to offer

"fresh from the tree":

A wrapped breast has a very a different shape - even in a corset you  won't find the shown effect between the breasts.

I don't have any skills with those programs, but you/the program may get a more realistic results in creating the clothes without using a real formed breast at the body?  ::)

I am speechless! That was really unexpected!

Gratulations to betocapo and Layer for getting a trophy, too!

I'll try to come up with the next theme soon.

I like the characters and how they are done except the breasts of the women, because it reminds me more as if they got their skin painted than like wearing clothes.  ::)

The knees are almost not bent.
For me that looks a bit stiff and falls on particularly strong because the upper body is very mobile.

Congratulations to Chicky and Darius!

Yeah! - I got one of those nice fishies, too!
Thank you Tomatoes and Anas   :-*

Yes Anas, you did a very good job as a host and offered really cute trophies!
I'll take care of one of them with pride  ;D

Shall we test my theory... I'm going to do a forum search.  If the forum breaks, it's my fault.

Wait until Monday about 17:oo   ;) - that's the time I think it will happen again ::)

Does anyone have a solution to this?

#1572
I would like to see all of them  floating around in space with such a lot of unexpected surprises

There are several ideas I like, but Darius' is the one, that is really well done and the most eyecatching for me
(even if it is colored outside the given shape ;)).

So my vote goes to Number 2

You already know, that I am not a painter, but I like the topic and wanted to use my tablet again having some fun and that's all.

The sprite and the same sprite with a more different background color than the forum

. . . to realize more easily what I did tried to freeze the twig

Were you able to view the video ok? YouTube tells me it's blocked in some countries because of the song I used.  :'(

Yes, it is blocked, but if you really, really want something and try hard ...

A sweet little escape-game clean in style, nicely drawn and not that difficult and suited to play it together with your kids.

Good to know, that there is someone thinking about how to catch the juniors right in time ;)

Well done!

Quote from: kaputtnik on Wed 25/01/2012 09:24:26If you have played it, comment, folks!

I liked the graphics, animations and puzzles right from the start. The first part was a bit like collecting an unknown number of pieces to make the system work properly without knowing about the reason, why the character didn't even try to refuse playing that game.
I always hoped to catch some thoughts of him between the travels but I only was told first to collect the next fragment before doing something else.
Now this may have been because of my lack of English and it changed during the second part, when dialogs gave more hints about what the program was aiming for.

Concentrating on this different point of view made the gameplay very interesting und entertaining. The ending was a good idea and makes it kind of a separate search for to realize the things really wanted and needed â€" and to go for them â€" like all of us have to make decisions.

To tell it in less words: I like the game and the story!

This is a very impressive game with wonderful graphics, nice puzzles and almost poetic. The sound effects and music emphasize the emotional story effectively.
I loved sharing the thoughts of someone who takes care of memories while dealing with all the troubles of surviving in an uncomfortable world.
A sensitive told story about several kinds of value, respect and esteem, loss and restart.

And of course I like stories that also include thoughts about ...
Spoiler
   ... stealing a kiss!

This is sooo romantic I saved a bit of it for myself.   <3  <3  <3  <3

Several people are very confused that there is no option to designate a portion of their donation to the developers. People do want to support you guys and they think you're being even more humble than a Humble Indie Bundle... almost stupidly so. Please, consider respecting people's decision on whether or not they want to give to *you* as well as a charity of their choice. Sometimes respecting a person's decision to help is worth more than refusing that help.

How about respecting the decision of the developers?

I didn't donate to Child's Play. I donated the developers and got the games for it. But I knew, that they won't hold on this money, because they told us about their choice to donate everything (that we are willing to pay/donate for the games) to a special charity organization.

It's not that complicated. We support the developers and they donate!

Who am I to tell someone else, where he has to donate? This may be a given option sometimes, that's okay -  but all the people who demand it, show a kind of disrespect in my eyes.

This Bake Sale is such a wonderful project - enjoy the games and that there is something positive going on  :-*
