... I might make the suggestion to the forum mods/admin to create a totem type contest or some other image collaborations in the future. I got the idea from pixelation and they have produced some spectacular collaborative images over the years. Though perhaps this has already been done on this forum? ...

Is it about Leukocytes at work? (Also no form of cancer, HIV, etc... I wouldn't go that dark...)

Whut?!  As far as i know (I haven't studied medicine) leukocytes are the white soldiers in the blood, which fight against pathogens. This does not require a serious illness. A simple cold or light inflammation in the body is sufficient for "the war" to break loose. So it's nothing 'dark' about it.

Oh      - totally forgot my next question, sorry:

Are we talking about digestion?

(Even if I wouldn't define it as killing the food, because it is about extraction the needed stuff and conversion to energy but it fits if taken very loosely)
