-  let me introduce to the public the just discovered so far unknown species called ......

… the ordinary fire-snail

Here we have some cute little buggers, kind of a snail   
but sadly they are veery toxic. So - for your own safety - do not touch!

They have this tentacles at the head that work like a toxic tongue.
Everything touched by those continuously in movement being 'antennas' will get paralyzed.
They  pierce their tail-sting deep inside the paralyzed part of the booty to get a strong hold (once completely drilled you need a scalpel to remove it). That way they have the chance to 'prepare' the booty with their strong, like pliers tools to get appetizing morsels into their mouth whithout the risk of falling.

They where discovered (by accident - but who asks ) in the deep jungle by a scientist who left his tent in the middle of the night for to pee. He had mistaken their glowing eyes (that guarantees their good nightsight) with fireflies and nearly lost several fingers until he was saved by his comrades.
This might be the reason why he decided to name them fire-snail

I can't remember to have seen such a lot of entries for a long time.
An amazing challenge â€" congratz Mister Abdin - well done 

I won't tell you how many hours I pushed pixels around in this shape. 

Even I know the rules for pixel art I never used such a small colour palette. So I first had to look for some references and studied them. 
Short time after starting I wasn't sure if I can finish this piece at all because - regardless of the quality of the result - Iooking at the zoomed version gave me the feeling of my eyes going to bleed 

Well, but here we go - limited colour palette and shape should be okay (since GIMP took care of it ) and maybe there's even a little chance that someone recognizes, what game the scene is from that I took for reference - even I needed to adapt it a bit to fit in the shape.
