Booaaah!  You really did this?   Scandalous!

Is there nobody watchin' what those jung savages are doing as soon as they are alone at home?
I can't believe what you did to my pals!
This calls for vendetta!

...ähem ... on the other hand - I better complain about your outrageous behavior to the ASPCA immediately!

Allet Jute zum Jebutstach, abstauber!

@cat
Ha, ha, ha  (laugh) â€"  I think that this ingredient gets a very high priority by several game makers
                                          - well chosen, cat!

@cassie
Thanks for the explanation. I first saw it more like a failed voodoo-ceremony that caused never ending
disruptions for the developer instead of being a kind of relentless watchdog.

Good to see you found the lost cat (Now I am speculating what your cat needed that litterbox for)  (laugh)

Great starters! - Keep it coming!
I am eager to see more of your special ingredients for game making

#524
Right now Blint fits nicely in the shape (wise of you to use the zoom to make it last a bit longer)  (laugh)

One thing I need to ask because I am not sure if I understood your 'recipe'.

Is that blob meant to be the ingredient?
Does it mean that you need sacrificing  a cat to a blob in order to create a good (horror) game?
#525
Yeah!
This is really exciting - we will learn soooo much

#526
COOL - we have our first entry  ;-D

So we can note down that your most urgent ingredient is named "copy and paste"
#527
It can be everything that you define as urgent ingredient for game making.
As long as you are able to explain it it's possible to place in the shape.
It is your recipe, so noone can say that it is wrong

For example if you think that the main ingredient is time and lots of heart
you might fill in a clock and a heart. So in case the game will only be successful
with a special character he'd belong there.

But don't do it like the lobster in a pot

INGREDIENTS FOR A COOL GAME

Dear bakers, gamers, cooks and developers! Who of you has the best recipe for game making?

Here's your chance to show us your skills in developing a game. Check your recipe for game making for the most successful ingredients and place them (at least one of them) in the shape for us to learn.
If you haven't made a game so far you should come up with ingredients that you'd expect to be part of the recipe for a cool game.
Of course, some extra informations and explanations to your contribution are welcome.

I can't wait to see what ingredients you will consider the most useful and place inside the shape.
... and here's your shape:

You are allowed to rotate or mirror the shape (no scaling please â€" using imagezoom for displaying will make it easy for us to discover all the details).
You can use as much colors as you like, also to color the outline and choose the style you prefer.
Just stay in (the) shape and don't cross the given outline â€" but that's the point here anyway, isn't it?

Trophies? - Sure!
In case you let us take a peek in your cooking pot I thought it might fit to offer some rare pieces from the AGS-treasury located in the deepest abyss of madness.
Here are some of the priceless and highly polished AGS-cooking pots â€" to be used just by the best 'cooks' from the AGS'ers

So don't forget to reveal your secret ingredience post your entry before the 10th of April is over (forum time).
btw.
You are allowed to come up with several submissions (but you can win just once â€" after the voting is done your 'strongest' entry will count)

Now for the fun of it ...

... READY...

... STEADY...

... GOOO!

          „Vooooting!“

„Germany ten points, Allemagne dix points, …  what? ...
it's not the European Song Contest?“ meeeh

ähem â€" - let's try it again:

Shame on you guys!
This shape was a real challenge ...
… and you all came up with bloody good entries!

1st   WRK  who's idea, pixels and animation are top

2nd  selmiak  with his self-satisfying arcade machine

3rd  Hobo for creating a talented all-rounder named FunBoT 6000

… and I am really sad that Cassie wasn't able to join.

@April:  cool screenshot  Nearly the same time I did one, too (but with first cow bigger and girl normal) (laugh)

@Snarky: If I am at home it is no prob to jump in again - just send me a line. (nod)

        gmbl
Okay - I became forced convinced to pixelpush something.
I decided to do just that and place it here â€" Now, please watch it at your own risk!!

I want to introduce to you …
“Miss Something“:

[imgzoom]http://fs2.directupload.net/images/user/150312/5mwjzmdf.png[/imgzoom]

. . . or as she likes to call herself
>>>   the next dancing queen  <<<

She performs a kind of modern ballet and is really excited to have made a contract abroad already.
She doesn't know anything about this country yet but doesn't care
because they told her that the inhabitants from Minecraft will love her figure for sure.

Edit:
YAY - extension, extension!
Because we got offered that extension, I fiddled a bit with the colours. I wanted to let her appearance become brighter and a bit naughty
...  more like a queen of dancing instead of something insignificant
   (laugh)

... Would any of you be willing to do another "dress rehearsal" beta ahead of the ceremony, just to check that things are in order? Maybe this coming weekend? ...

... same time, same place ...

Nice idea - gave me some good laughs

Finally I understand why all people are teleported onto the stage instead of simply walk there.
#538
That would be wonderful â€" of course everything which affects all has more priority.
I don't want to 'steal' time that is needed for important things.

Thank you for taking the time to think about alternatives for me and
adding the bigger font size on your to-do-list.

                                 I am speachless!

I already got some grey hairs until I managed to gather some alf-hearted approaches of ideas, but
even if I would be able to convert one idea into an acceptable entry ...
I can't get even close to this quality.

You guys are really fantastic - chapeau
#540
Yes it looks like on your screen.
I am running it in DD5 without nearest neighbour-filter in 640 x 480
but my laptop can't make it bigger in windowed (1280 x 960 is some pixels too big) so 2 x nn doesn't work for me.

So there is no easy jumping to other windows in fullscreen
or the windowed that it's okay for watching but reading the font is hard (for me).  :-[
