It is just a wish but now seems to the best time to tell it:

If possible I'd prefer the font to be bigger where you type and read the chat completely (not needed on screen).
It's very hard for me to read when using windowed mode.

I don't know if I've just got it set wrong,...
I also had some trouble with it at first but changing the cursor into something 'useful' is done by typing letters:  l > look, i > interact, t > talk

Hope it helps - have fun

May the next year become an entertaining adventure!

Great entries all around!

Thanks a very lot for the votes and congatulations to Mandle and Pindo!

Now back to ponder about the next shape
#545
That was a very hard shape to fill and even harder after I saw the first entry that always appeared in my mind when I tried to find something else that might fit.
Thanks a lot for the little extra race, Mandle (I had fun to include a tiny Tabby because of it)  (laugh)
Now  we have to choose the best entry and again I have a hard time when watching all this well done pieces

I am very happy that pixel art wasn't required for the submissions because I am still in love with the first entry.
The idea and also the story behind it is heartwarming.
Those smooth sparkles give it a wonderful touch of a precious memory.

My votings:

1st  I<3Pindorama!   for what I said before.
2nd  Mandle                for all the tiny details and that I can think about it to be placed into a game like it is
3rd  AprilSkies            for that stunning shadows and lights that give it depths and a kind of 3D-feeling

WRK  ~   Sadly I only can vote for three of this four awesome entries. Nonetheless I want to tell that I like your pixel art and the animation. Also welcome in the forums (nod)

Selmiak, good choice to book a ride with the space elevator - it is a cool adventure with a stunning view!
I hope you didn't get fooled by the 'special blue superdiscount'?

It is extremly cheap because you signed the disclaimer contract and will get the newest test gondola. No worries - it is save and comfortable including snak bar and such.
There's just one little thing to worry about . . .  it has a small red button . . . to open the gondola!

     So please . . .

Mandle!    I knew it!   8-0

To be faster will get me the only chance for my five minutes of fame.  (laugh)
Now I have to confess that your entry is stunning â€" real pixel art
including well set highlights and shadows and perfect in the shape.

A very well done piece, Mister!

Please let me present you a method of future transportation:

space elevator

      [imgzoom]http://fs1.directupload.net/images/user/150223/iqbbdkix.gif[/imgzoom]

Here we have eight gondolas that transport you within the tube of that space elevator up to a platform in orbit to watch the stars (or mother earth - in rare case of missing clouds).

Lots of couples in love use to book a trip to represent the question of all the questions  (special discount during the week).

Every now and then a gondola is put off to replace it with a little space shuttle. This shuttle will start its journey to outer space from the platform (this way an immense amount of fuel is saved).

btw.
For safety reasons, the entire system is operated exclusively by vocal control system. There are no buttons because it is told about some strange people that call themself AGS'er. They seem to be members of a support group and are unable to keep their fingers away from buttons. A hard training with special programs that don't allow to push the button will hopefully help them to recover - poor guys.

This little representation also includes a short special appearance for to proof Mandle that I was faster than him.    (laugh)

(laugh)  Ha, ha, ha!
A race to orbit?
Cool!  No prob !  I'll await you at the top!

. . .

Ahem … what did you press?
… a button??
Ooops!
I knew that I would forget something

     I tinker too!
It is still uncertain if it will work , but I am an adventurer - so I try.

Unfortunately there is no hope of an English description for you.
That's why you will need fantasy!
(a lot of it)!

Let's say, it will become something like a space elevator (hopefully)

Dear Frodo, hope you had a great day!

Hey Mandle,

of course I did!
It's point & click â€" so it's right my cup of … ähem …  cheese
and I had really fun playing it

It's a big shame that there is no (super)mouse included
… but aside of that I'd call this project a total success.

My best regards for your 'team' (including their teacher) to come up and complete such a nice
game including some clever puzzles. You all can be very proud of this.

You and your students did a cool job!

It might have been nice to see a groupshot of the complete team before the game starts.
For players to see what a committed teacher with ambitious students is able to deliver
and as a wonderful memory for the team.
