Only 18 days left! When I get paid on Friday, I'll be putting down a hefty amount of money into this project. Don't let it die!

I actually envision the "perfect" Facebook game being much like an open-world game with MMORPG style qualities (interaction with other players in real-time, ways to improve your character/upgrade your vehicle/etc.). I only wish I knew Flash. :-\

“The world’s full of lies. There’s no way of knowing what’s right. All we can do is believe in ourselves. It’s easy to sit back and let people trick you. … I’m done with their lies. … From here on out I use my own eyes. Think.” â€" Hope, Final Fantasy XIII (haven't played it myself, but I read it somewhere)

General Discussion / Re: Why youtube? Why?

Ahh, "Google! beta"... back when sites in beta status didn't stay in beta status for FRICKIN' YEARS.

But yeah, people sometimes bitch and moan about every little layout change. YouTube's change was jarring at first, but it grew on me. I only complain about design changes when things become unintuitive, harder to use, hidden, or obscured. Or, as is the case with Facebook, less secure and more invasive.

The olny death who really worth mention this week is the one of Vaclav Havel.

Nah, Christopher Hitchens' death trumps everybody else. :(

Hey, thanks for sharing that with the rest of us, Armageddon. That is very generous of you. :)

The puzzles in Episode 5 were simply awesome. :D Loved it!

I swear to the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I'm still working on By the Sword, albeit at a snail's pace.

I pretty much agree with the reviews above. Episodes 1 and 3 were the best, 2 was kinda meh, and 4 was just OK, nothing special.

Spoiler
I absolutely LOVED the entire Citizen Brown, "1984" alternate present reality. That, and cannibalizing parts from the DeLorean. Just awesome. Alternate Jennifer was a nice touch. But what I really liked was Original Doc Brown's explanation of the various timelines, A through E I think it was. Classic. :)

So long, and thanks for all the fishâ€" er, videos! You've done the adventure gaming community a great service, and you will not be forgotten (at least not until we've had a few drinks).

Since Sierra VGA games weren't made with AGS (and nobody here has the original source code), I don't see how anybody could make a voice pack for any of the Sierra-released games. Perhaps just wait for them to be re-made? :P

I  am having a hard time finding game sites to upload my games.
Everyone of them I have found the upload does not work.
Is there any I don't know about.

www.shutupload.com works like a charm

Wee! Plug for my site! I was going to post my site in here, but it was already done. :)

That makes sense. I'll keep that in mind when playing your remake, and take it at its own worth. You guys make amazing remakes (KQ2 was my favorite, QfG2 a close second), so I'm sure we won't be disappointed one bit.

I'm kinda torn on this one. On one hand, AGDI produces amazing remakes and reduxes (reduces?), but on the other, Infamous Adventures already did a remake of KQ3... with Josh Mandel as King Graham again, to boot... and it was amazing. I'm definitely downloading and playing this, but I just can't help but think that I'll end up comparing it to IA's version.

I don't believe the world will end in 2012. It sounds like a load of rubbish.
Welcome to reality!

My last calendar ended at December 31st, 2010, and nothing happened. So much for calendars predicting the end of the world by ending!

Actually, they did make a Back to the Future Adventure game and I think its freely available. There is a thread somewhere about it around here. I havent played the game, but it got mixed reviews from what I hear.

Ahem. I was the one who created the BTTF game thread (the original one at least).

QuoteIf they hadn't already made it...

In other words, "If Telltale hadn't already made such a game just the other day, then I would have liked to make it." ;)

"Genuineness" is indeed a word.

If they hadn't already made it, I would say that the "Back to the Future" universe would make a great adventure game. I'd still love to make a BTTF game that took place before the first one, or that overlapped with one or more of the 3 movies, perhaps showing us gameplay for scenes that were never shown on-screen.

I think Dexter would make a great adventure game. If I was't already busy working on a game already, I'd take on that task. In fact, I still might if I had some help. Awesome TV show, awesome potential for adventure game greatness. ;D

OK, so I'm one of those free subscribers, but I got an email a few hours ago with a download link and a link to get my serial number. It appears those who were going to have to wait until February, can download it now!

Can't wait to play it later! ;D ;D ;D
