So I'm looking for

cheap site hosting, with ASP.

I'd say godaddy but who knows, maybe you know some people who know some people who are even cheaper.

I use HostGator and I highly recommend them. Their plans are incredibly cheap, but offer good features on hosting.

Free downloads have to wait until February. If you want it now, you have to pay $25 up front for the entire series of games.  :-\

Back to the Future gets a release date: December 22, 2010.

Also, a video with Marty and Doc Brown in-game footage, and more: http://pc.ign.com/articles/114/1140410p1.html

The reason why I personally mourn for certain celebrities is because it's sad to know that there is no chance we will ever see any of new work from the deceased, even if they hadn't worked in ages. This is one of those cases. :(

Holy hell! http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-behind-back-to-the/706591

They couldn't get Michael J. Fox for the voice of Marty McFly... but to be honest, I think the actor they did get is even better... :o

Your artwork is amazing! I've always thought that KQ4 was long overdue for a remake. I would like to help in any way that I can if you do decide to make a remake independent of the one that mkennedy linked to... programming, voice acting, proofreading, whatever you need!

Sweet! I was wondering how far along you guys were on this. Can't wait to play it!

Pretty much what Intense Degree said, is what I thought of TSL. A great game overall (so far), and I definitely am looking forward to Episode 3, which by all counts, should be out in the next month or so. It's free, so I can't judge it against how much I "paid" for it (even in the Internet "time" currency KQIX-Team supposedly invests in), but for a free game, it was damn good.

Also, KQIX-Team, it is NOT true that "most people" pay per minute of Internet service. Maybe 10-15 years ago, sure, but hardly anybody today.

Gilbet, don't think that being in Hong Kong eliminates you as a suspect. We're watching you. :o

Not to mention the fact that The Silver Lining is FREE. If the adage "You get what you pay for" really is true, we're all getting a goddamn BARGAIN with TSL. If you had paid $30 for the game (or even $20 or, hell, $10!) I could see a reason to complain about the short lengths of each episode, but... come on now, KQIX-Team... we cut you a little slack with your remake of a fan sequel, because the art actually was pretty good and some of us could actually see a reason for making such a game, even if it's only out of protest.

But TSL is free, so what are you complaining about? Go find some other game to play then.

I agree, it was a huge improvement, and I would've loved to see what he would've come up with.

I'm appalled that nobody has mentioned the entire Tex Murphy series of games... many of them have paranormal elements, and they're all set in the near future.

Nearly 27,000 pixels tall. Impressive. OOH! I see my game!

Might wanna fix the YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yaj_aGRU1DI

Being one of the mirror hosts, it'd be nice if I actually had the time to play the game early and tell people how important it is they download it when it's released. :P

I hope you don't think that "Let's Play" (or any of them) is funnier than the recut. Hearing somebody complain while playing a game, pointing out the obvious and making fun of antiquated animation, is just... eh.

Never mind, I watched the parody of KQ5 he made after his playthrough. I LOL'd. And then I LOL'd some more. I take it back, it was hilarious (aside from the playthrough part). :D

I'm not sure if anybody's posted this before, but I came across this and laughed my ass off the first time I watched this... and the second time, as well. Part 2 is a LOT funnier than Part 1, but I've included both for the sake of completeness.

All of the browsers in existence will continue to suck until they fully support CSS 3 and HTML 5. That is all.

I stopped caring about Duke Nukem Forever about 10 years ago or so. *yawn*

I was just about to post this. I love the look of the characters (if this is indeed concept art/test renders), and the fact that we'll see plenty of appearances of movie characters is a good sign. :)
