Hello dear AGS community!

Maybe you are interested in my new AGS article series called "AGS-Classics". So far there are two issues:
Ben Jordan - Paranormal Investigator (English via google translate) (Original in German)
Metaphobia (English via google translate) (Original in German)

The third issue is already in the works, hopefully with another developer interview.
I would appreciate feedback and game suggestions for more AGS Classics!  :-D

Hello together!

For two years now, I've been writing articles about AGS games for the German gaming website GamersGlobal.de, but due to the language, it never occurred to me to mention them here. But then they were mentioned at one point in the forum here, which got me thinking that maybe one or the other might be interested anyway. After all, there are online translators.

The occasion is the issue of AGS-Highlights that was published today. In this series I present my personal highlights from the AGS scene once a quarter.
AGS-Highlights 2023 (1)

A great source of information is this forum. If you have any tips for my next article or would like to tease some information about your latest projects in advance, feel free to drop me a line.

I would be happy about feedback if one or the other of you managed to hop over the language barrier.

Thank you very much,
Sascha / The Last To Know

Quote from: agentbauer on Sun 05/03/2023 12:37:51Each time I replay it I find something new. The last playthrough gave me, so I think, the best ending:
Walter is alive and working with the Professor, the witch is dead, the Child is alive and with his mother, the Cultists have been stopped by the Police.
Is this the best ending, or did I miss something, maybe anything with Allison?
This is the ending I got on my second playthrough. Nice!

Okay, my nominations are out.  :)

It was one of the best games I've played this year!  :)
You can read my review here (in German).

Congratulations on finishing the game! And I can only join in the praise. Very nice adventure.

I recently finished your game and it was really fantastic. You captured the vibe of those old Sierra Adventures, including cool EGA graphics and random stupid deaths.
The puzzles were nice too, maybe a bit too logical in comparison with the original games.
It was fun to play! Thank you for this.

You need to find your way further through the desert.
You will find

a cactus to drink some water from it.

And later

some kind of oasis.

You're on the right way. In order to get the small energy crystal in the bedroom, you have to
Spoiler
distract Pearl. She likes to see shooting stars.

You can fake one

with one of the light balls in her bedroom drawer.

You have to
Spoiler
throw it in the waste bin so it gets sucked in space.

Congratulations! This is a a great game and it was really nice to be able to test it before the release.
My favorite adventure game this year! Hot candidate for the AGS Awards 2022!

Will there be dead ends in the final game? Maybe if I run out of money and get sick because I ran through the rain or something?  ;)
#54
Very cool trailer. I'm sure your game will really take off.
#55
Good to hear, I'm looking forward to the final release.  :)

I tried the demo and was impressed by the great animations. However, the gameplay stressed me slightly, as I constantly felt like I was missing something. The atmosphere was very oppressive, you managed that very well!
#57
This is good news, looking forward to it.  :)
#58
Congratulations to all the winners!  :)
