Scan IE with it and delete the flash plugin, maybe that'll stop it.

I'm not sure about the Notepad problem, but it sounds like something a virus might do. Make sure you try AVG - http://www.grisoft.com, or Avast - http://www.avast.com as well as those spyware progs.

One way you might be able to get online is through IE:
Tools > Internet Options > Connections tab

Here you can add a new dial-up connection, maybe that would work? You'll need to know the phone number your modem dials.

I've only played the 2D Metroid on the SNES, i didn't really think too much of it at the time... and still don't. I haven't tried the GC game yet.

I just hope this new Zelda game can move on from the earlier 3d Zelda games. Wind Waker was pretty much the same as OoT gameplay wise, so hopefully this game can introduce something new. But even if it doesn't it'll still be awesome.

I ALMOST fancy the new Link, rawr.

Speaking of Graphic Design, i'm awaiting an interview for a course. I'm pretty sure i'll get in, although apparently there have been a laods of applications for it. So good luck to me too!

I think I might have been 1 of those 100. I think i downloaded it, started it up, got confused then deleted it. Or maybe that was the first one. Congratulations though!

Underrated bands? I'll have to say Third world and Type O Negative. I'm really into other kinds of music... But I listen to these too, And It's very hard to find music by Third world, which I would consider makes them not so known. I might be wrong, since the music sounds older than me.

I wouldn't say Type O Negative are underrated, every gothic metalhead i know loves them!

They didn't get a chance to get any huge recognition because the lead singer died just after they finished their first album. 2 of the members went on to form Pearl Jam.

Yeah, there's a possibility that it might be some totally random game that hardly anyone will play, but i don't think there are many game developers in Edinburgh besides Rockstar.

In the print-out i have it says "you will need to be at the cutting edge of games playing to apply for this position". I doubt it would say that if it was some random puzzle, or educational game, but who knows.

I was looking for a job in Edinburgh for the summer and i came across this:

They're looking for games testers for a leading games company. The only company i can think of in Edinburgh is Rockstar North, they're based in a place called Leith.

I found out San Andreas is due for release on October 19th, and the print out i have says the duration of the contract lasts 4 months... which sort of matches up to when it'll be released. Hmmmmm, this could be pretty interesting :)

This game looks pretty amazing, your character fits well with the BG too.

I've been reading Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? again. I've also been meaning to get Shibumi, Snow Crash and Battle Royale (my friend says the movie of this is crazy with all these kids killing each other). Hopefully i'll get down to buying them soon!
