I used to play CS a longggg time ago. Now i play Natural Selection which atually requires some kind of THOUGHT and TEAMWORK to win and isn't so rampant with cheats, but if you were to start a clan for fun i guess i would join, why not.

That's a really great model! It has loads of character to it. The only thing i could maybe nitpick on is that you could've maybe put more slices for the top of the ears unless there's some poly limit, but it doesn't really matter!

Hullo!

I'm no expert but it should be reasonably simple. Say you create a Sphere/Geosphere first, right click on it and convert to Editable Mesh or Poly. Next look to the right side and click the + next to Editable Poly/Mesh and select Vertex then select the bottom vertex of the Sphere/Geosphere. Look to the right side again and click on the +Soft Selection rollout and tick Use Soft Selection and change the Falloff to about 20 or so, then select the Move tool at the top and just drag the vertex up.

Hopefully this kinda works/helps.

You just gave me an idea, i have hundreds of cover discs from magazines. I'll go rummage through them all now, thanks.

::edit:: i just found it hidden away in one of their FTPs, har har, http://www4.jasc.com/pub/psp704ev.exe

Well they took away the simple LINE tool and i really need it. They have a vector style version, but it's just more annoying and complicated than it needs to be.

QuoteThe game is in an early stage yet,but we are working hard.
In a month(more or less) we will probably be able to give you a small (really small) taste(demo).

How long 'til the small taste then?

Maybe you know loads about games but you probably aren't a hardcore gamer, more of a casual gamer. It's just silly when they choose casual gamers to present gaming shows rather than people that have some kind of decent knowledge. It's like getting someone that doesn't fully know the rules of football to present a football show.

Conclusion: Geeks should present gaming shows. The End. :)

Has anyone else seen this really lame gameshow that's just started on Sky One? It's another one of those shows where the presenters know absolutely nothing about games. Mention a Radeon or a GeForce to them and they'll probably stare blankly back at you.
It even has a cheats section which is a total waste of tv time since there's this little thing called the internet.

Here's a page i found with some quotes from the presenters, scroll down to bananaman_007's 2nd post: http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/t/82911/ds.html

One good thing is that the voice-over woman totally slated the Charlie's Angels game. That's about the only good thing.

Quotephotoshop does have colour replacement, but i need something like an eraser for only 1 specific colour!

Yeah it does but it doesn't work in the same way, in PSP you choose the colour you want to change, then choose the colour you want to have, then just paint over it, simple. I'm not sure if photoshop's works in the same way.
#257
It would make the speech akin to that of video games with commentators where it loads the different wav files and they're all different pitches and it just sounds a bit silly.
#258
Well if you had PSP installed you could use the colour replacer tool, but photoshop seems to lack one that works as well unfortunately.

Wow, first time i've checked this thread out. You're latest version is a HUGE improvement over the original, really detailed work. It has a very star warsy feel to it. GJ.
