That is how I'd do it, so I guess it's right. Also add code for object, if you want turn off it later.

Is it possible to do, that character would only walk if player have clicked ON walkable area and if player have clicked outside walkable area, then character wouldn't move.

Are you sure it's talk view? Because I changed all talking sprites to default ego, and speech text was at the same height.

EDIT: It's using characters basic/walking view 1st frame. Not I'll have lots of aligning to do.

  I'm using AGS 3.2.1 and I create game with 640x480 resolution. Though I got problem (again). It's with speech. When I use "character.Say", his text gets way above his head. Probably it's because I use bigger sprite frame (all sprites uses same frame, and the top of sprite is not the head of character, but raised hand).  Is there any way to get that text lowered?

Though it has some problems with variables, speech labels... Probably it's because of AGS version difference (I'm a bad scripter, can't make this work)

Somewhy I thought that Blackwell is a trilogy. But now i know that it is not  ;D  Definitely I want to see (and play) this finished.

Is it just me, or it Dennis looks "weird blurry". Try to sharpen edges. Despite that, it looks pretty good, though I personally like older "anime" style.

Took whole day to make this, but I have it fully "animateable", so I guess you'll see Dennis in Roger's Quest II  ;D

Hmm...I don't know what kind of style you're trying to get, but I'd make corners darker and I think I'd add some soft textures or walls, boxes etc. because they look too clean.

But that's just my opinion.  ;)

Finished this like in 5 mins and didn't died ;D Though I was saving like crazy.

Roger founds that powder and a knife beneath it. His "Quest" was to save Kate and when he did that game should end. But that magic powder is a like a key to sequence. Remember what Hobo said about fire  ;)

Decided to write my game to CD in case I my computer destroyed or something. Firstly I thought to make something quick with PS, but then I saw that my printer is isn't filled, so I had to go to traditional style. Here is how it looks:
