To be honest, I don't demand tutorials. Maybe there's a source code of some game available to see?
I'm not a genius, I have taken up programming simply as a hobby. That's why I would be pleased to have a model solution to look at.

I released the source code of one of my AGS games once, if that helps at all :)

Happy birthday to Chris Jones.

You know we all love you.

And veryweirdguy, even though you're pretty weird (your webcomic is still cool though)

Actually, I swore I posted about this, because I remember seeing it and thinking it looks lovely.

So, apologies for not saying so before, but congrats on making prerendered (?) 3d look very lively and colourful and good luck with your work on the game!

QuoteOne AGS annoyance that always bugs me is that you can't right click on a background to get the room coordinates when you're in any mode other than 'Nothing'. It should honestly work for every mode, Especially while in walkable areas mode.

This is actually implemented in the release above (it's in the readme) :D.

Another fine feature! Great work!

Though it started out a bit slow, I found it very sweet, especially towards the end. Funnily enough, I've been wanting to do a scene with two people sitting on swings for ages hah.

Also, I played this the other week which happens to be from the same author :)

Congratulations Zyndikate - a most beautiful background amongst other very lovely pieces.

You seem to be getting better and better - really this is something to be proud of :)

designing ridiculous puzzles - learned it at the university :)

They have courses for that now?  :=

Everything I've learned so far has been from practice and asking others for help/advice basically. I tried studying art when I was quite a bit younger and never got anywhere with it, and never had the chance to study coding at school/inclination to study it after school.

Writing I just make up as I go along  ;D

Good thinking! This is a neat idea :)

I have played this, beaten the enemy and approve of it very much.

Well done, I say!

Looking grayt Fitz!

Isn't this like the second game you've put into a cabinet?

You're awesome!  :D

And thanks goes to Frodo for what I can only hope are accurate Scottish lines. But who can say for sure? ;)

I couldn't understand a word - so they must have been spot on!  :D

Amazing.

Dynamic character development and spot on pacing place this among the top 10 Oceanspirit Dennis games. I congratulate you!

Also, special mention to the awesomeness of the Scottish translation :D

Another way of showing great height is to show other things off in the distance and make them quite small.

With regards to the tree, I find it a little odd that it gets thicker further away from the roots (this is the opposite of how I draw trees) and for such a wide set of branches I would also usually draw a wider set of roots. With trees I generally try to make sure that the wider the branches are, the wider I show roots to indicate that the tree can support this weight (particularly when the weight is not balanced symmetrically, as is the case with this tree).

I did a quick sketch:

Other than this, nice background!

Allow me to repay your early birthday well wishing with my own late birthday well wishing! (I was away from the computer for a week, I have an excuse  :=)

I had a lot of fun playing this - and while I agree with Kaputtnik's and Tzach's points regarding the strangeness of things and food machine woes, still found it most enjoyable to enjoy.

Lovely work, bring on the next episode!

Thanks, Re1Mu2R3, glad to hear you enjoyed it!  :)
