1a. I'd be interested in participating, provided the timing suits me: Yes
1b. I would probably only be interested/able to provide critique and not participate: No, interested in participating as well as giving feedback.

2a. The best time period for me would be: Any
2b. The ideal duration of the activity for me would be: A month seems like a decent balance for everybody, and I think that'd work very well for a slower, more academic thing.
2c. On average, provided that the timing suits me, I would probably be able to spend this many hours peer week during it: 6-8 hours a week

3a. I feel comfortable with the concept of composition when it comes to paintings (as in giving and receiving critique regarding it): Yes
3b. I feel comfortable with the concept of values when it comes to paintings (as in giving and receiving critique regarding it): Yes
3c. I feel comfortable working with thumbnails when it comes to paintings: Yes
3d. I feel comfortable giving critique in general regarding other's pieces: Yes

4a. I would be interested in providing a tutorial in some area: I love discussing colour and composition, but frankly there are other members more skilled and knowledgeable in these areas than I am.
4b. I would be interested in participating/help in some other area: Always happy to share thoughts on stuff in terms of C&C

5a. Some general thoughts/suggestions: It always seems hard to stick to strict schedules in these things, and I am worried this one will run away as others have done in the past, I think it's very hard to rebuild momentum once you lose it. I go back and read through the old workshops (both the one loominous & Daniel (I think!) hosted and the ones Andail hosted) from time to time and find them very educational but also wish their momentum had been kept up a bit better. I'd be kind of wary of having extensions for this reason, although I realize for some people it's just not possible to spend that much time a week working on things.)

Thanks to AnasAbdin for the topic suggestion!

Haha, excellent idea. I liked this a lot. :cheesy:

This looks excellent! I'm excited to try this out, sorry to hear about your employment situation, but good on you for using the opportunity to make something like this! :cheesy:

Hehe, I know what you mean, but by "random" I guess I meant "The results of my actions were sometimes quite hard to predict." :=

Very fun little game. The self referential humour was nice, as were some of the puzzle ideas. A bit of feedback - sometimes the borderless text was a little hard to read.

Other than that, well done for another successful MAGS entry, and it's cool to see you trying different writing ideas out and experimenting!

This is cute! I like that the multiple tasks give the sense that you can fail things and still win the game, even if picking the right option did seem a little random.

A little thing that was confusing:

Spoiler
When arm wrestling, I thought I needed to use the arrow keys. Instead Topus walks around!

I got two of the endings, and I think I know how to get the third. Maybe I shall give it a try. :=

This made me smile, well done for completing it! :cheesy:

Very hard choice again, many superb entries this round.

BEST IDEA/CONCEPT: Misj' - this is the interpretation of the theme that seemed the most creative to me.

MOST PLAYABLE: Grundislav - The simplicity helps the playability, but also the various elements feel like they'd play well in a scene together.

ARTISTIC EXECUTION: loominous - It's inspiring to see strong principles applied to the layout of a piece without it feeling rigid, and to see such an "ordinary" location given such interesting forms.

More great entries. Awesome to see loominous entering again!

Get a better light! I work with a ceiling light and a lamp, and also an LED light behind my monitor that shines on the wall and lights the wall up. That way my lighting conditions for drawing are always as consistent as possible.

Not much to say except I am super excited to play this. Everything sounds good, everything looks great, keep up the progress! :cheesy:

I support this! Looking forward to seeing your entry OUXX.

That was the cutest and most fun thing, I'm just sad my connection died right as it finished. Thanks to the people who organized it (amazing work on the presentation!) and to everybody who voted for Blackwell. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners, you guys rock. <3

You played your part in this too. Don't forget that.

Oh yes, the egg came after we'd finished doing the chicken and poor Ponch was heartbroken. This was our way of easing the pain. :cheesy:
