Yeah, voting may start tomorrow, I don't have much left to do with my entry.

I'll probably end up editing this post with it before too long...

EDIT.  Like now.

Had to rush it at the end, please don't look too closely.

But at the age of 14 the father and mother should both be legaly charged. Cause its still illegal so both should I dunno be charged with rape or something.

Dictionary.com
"Rape

   1. The crime of forcing another person to submit to sex acts, especially sexual intercourse.
   2. The act of seizing and carrying off by force; abduction.
   3. Abusive or improper treatment; violation: a rape of justice."

Doesn't seem to fit there ;)

I'd appreciate more time, too. I may not be able to finish mine tonight...

...because he's got control over -my- body.
More specifically, your child's body.

I'm not really sure what to add without beating a dead horse... I agree in saying that husbands should know - not because I'm a man myself, but because it's just as much one partner's child as it is the other.  Responsibilities vary between the two sexes, but neither the woman nor the man should be able to make a choice like this without the other at least knowing about it.

2ma2 did a fantastic job of saying this... "..He's got a bloody right to know."

Did a 15 minute paintover.  Well, no, scratch that.  It's not a paintover, but.. it's a Barbarian.  It's very rough, apologies.  This room is way too hot to be in very long  ;)

Um.. I have absolutely no knowledge of the human anatomy aside from common sense, so that part probably won't help you too much.  Regardless, I decided to go for a more manlier, musclier Barbarian, because that was more interesting to me.  Perhaps he's a bit too much like a Caveman than a Barbarian, but I couldn't resist the club.

Muscles like that might be awful to animate, but I tried to tone down the detail and the colors.

It's roughly the same size as your original, I suppose.  10 colors.  Hope it helped somehow.

Edit: In case it looks like he spilled coffee on himself, that's hair  ;)
Also fixed the legs, the wrong one was in front... I think.

I'm pretty sure this fits the rules.

Haven't entered a Sprite Jam in a while, so I gave this a whirl.  I don't tend to do "photorealistic" things... so this satisfies me.

Approx. 40 colors.  Probably should have done with fewer.

EDIT Here's another one, that probably goes along with the rules better

General Discussion / Re: Hurricane Wilma

We got WALLOPED.

Glad to see you two are okay, I didn't expect both of you to have posted already.

Geez, I don't know where to start.  Lost power about 8 AM on Monday morning - it's currently Wednesday night.  Everything in our fridges had to be trashed, but that's very minor.  We lost about 2 dozen screens (similar to nets)  for our patio.  A tree hit the edge of that patio structure, knocked a good portion of it into the pool.  Some of our Hurricane shutters were ripped clean off.

There is not a single yard that hasn't lost a tree, 6 hours north of here, 6 hours south.  The eye of the storm went over me, possibly Darth and Grund.   Massive trees block all the major roadways, there isn't a single street light working

Enough yammering, here are some pictures.

The sky, as seen during the storm, roughly around the eye of it.

Trees like this are found every other house - the whole roots are pulled out with it.

Split!

A nearby neighbor's yard.  That tree hit the water thing... flooded the whole house, caused the ceiling to fall in.

Patio shutter damage.

Patio screen/structure damage.  The left-most area still has a screen intact.  You can't tell, but a large portion of that area is missing - poles like my hand has holding there.

Scrabble!

Couldn't agree more with Darth about the beautiful weather.  We were so lucky to get our power tonight - it's amazing really.  They're hoping to get 50% of Broward county power by Nov. 15; I was looking weeks ahead.

We're pretty lucky compared to some neighbors - some had trees strike their house and flood the whole place.

Well.. I'd like to say how TERRIBLE it is not to have power.  Nothing to do but eat and lie around.  Board games can only go so far ;)

I participate in a similar game at the Beaver and Steve (a webcomic) forums.  There's a most excellent .php that's been made to manage it all; it works flawlessly.

http://www.beaverandsteve.com/fgame.php
Perhaps a system like this would work for us, too.

All the players create sentences for their own chains.  You upload sentences and images through the PHP, which automatically PMs the next person in line.  When about a dozen chains are going simultaneously, it's hard to notice brief delays.  The PHP also shows chain statistics, who's next in line, and the completed chains.

I posted a reply there.  Thanks for backing me up, Chicky, but I am not completely innocent.  Please read through the link above, more specifically the reply I just posted.

I was certainly involved to an extent.  You may all draw your own conclusions on this matter, and on my character.  I can certainly understand some lack of respect for me.

I'd like to see more animating arvatars...
Bleack, no!  They're usually annoying.

As for my avatar, I probably won't ever have it as me.  Because I don't want to.

There actually is one POTC game out there... I have it, though I haven't managed to install it yet, so I don't know what it's like...

It's stupid.  Not based on the movie or the ride.  No Jack Sparrow, none of them.  You're an unknown pirate guy who meanders through some poorly concieved gameplay.

Well, I suppose it's not terrible, but far from what I want a PoTC game to be like.  So I shun it!

Adventure Related Talk & Chat / "Companies"
Sat 03/09/2005 00:16:01
Behind most AGS games there is a "company" of sorts.   Behind every unfinished game, there are probably two or three.  In a vast majority of the cases, the point of these is to make the game seem professional.  However, to be perfectly frank, do they?

You set up a team, you design a crazy rox0rs game.  And then you try to nail a professional or goofy company name.  In my opinion, this seems more amatuerish than not having one to begin with.  With large organizations, dozens of employees and actual money involved, company names are quite necessary.  But with one man shows and small teams, what do they do?  Why not just say "A game made by _ and _"?   I understand that company names are necessary for things like the ATC - and that's for keeping it organized and less confusing.  But when user 'X' makes a game by himself, and comes up with a name like "Some Guy Entertainment", it does neither.  Arguably, it's more confusing and doesn't really boast of professionalism.  Perhaps people tend to get sucked in by the whole "I'm making a game" idea and they really run with it.

Still, in most cases, a player does not remember an amatuer company name at all, but rather the creators of it.  Or so I believe.  So what do they do?  What's their affect... positve, negative?

So, give me your thoughts.  Should "companies" be discouraged?  Ignored?  Fueled?

I have an absolute phobia of ANYthing going near my eyes. It's completely instinctual and uncontrollable.

I can go near my eyes (rubbing, eye drops, etc) but that's it.

I had to go to the eye doctor one time and they had to physically strap me to the exam chair because I was totally unable to let them near my eyes. I hate it ... I feel like a weakling, but it's a fact either way!

That's me all the way.  Can't stand anything in my eyes; contacts, eye drops, what have you.  It's uncontrollable.  I can't keep my eye open and I start wiggling all over.  They need to force me down at the eye doctor as well.

I think it has more to do with my eye surgeries, though.  Not sure.  I'm also afraid of most heights, though I find airplanes cool.  Spiders only creep me out when they get agressive or of a beastly size.  But I like catching lizards.

Recently started using Google Talk, you can have 'phone calls' over the internet.  Works very well, recommended if you have a microphone.

Besides that, GAIM.  Tried Trillian, didn't like it.  Oh, right.  And I use mIRC.

And then Hurricane Katrina hit.  Was heading right towards us in Broward County, then shifted down towards Miami/Dade a bit - they got it worse then we did.  I was lucky enough not to lose power, but did lose a dozen patio screens and a basketball hoop hit one of our cars.  Was/is a category 1, the weakest a Hurricane can be.

Here we go again.

BOYD:  So all of World War II happened because of religion?  No, it happened because of an athiest dictator who declared war on a race of people.  How is this religion's fault?  Hitler did not attack religious Jews, he attacked those of the slightest Jewish heritage.  You are completely against religion, showing how much damage it has done, when in one of your examples it was an athiest doing the damage.  He was not a Christian, and while they said that they were killing Jews for Christianity on some occasions, at its core, the war was not started due to religion.  It was a man raising up his nation to gain control.

NASCAR was used metaphorically, as I'm sure you're aware.  Where did your santa clause letter come from?

As for revisions, they have nothing to do with the matter.  All revisions still follow what the original Greek, Hebrew and whatnot said.  They do not stray from it, and if they do, they are not considered to be truthful.  The only revisions I can possibly think of that made it through would be changing things like "And she was stoned" to "And she received a stoning", for obvious reasons.  And I hardly doubt changing that could damage the Bible's consistancy with itself.  I have yet to hear you mention any mistakes that the writers of it made.

i suggest you do some research on the origins of religion and stop accusing me of being het up about religion when it's obvious that what i'm saying is pissing you off more than what you're saying is pissing me off.
Well, you're the one doing the offending.  You're an athiest, we can't exactly mock you for being so, yet you can (and readily) mock us for our religion.  And why exactly would an athiest be telling us to look up origins of religion anyway?  Are you claiming to far greater knowledge on the subject then us?  I dislike NASCAR and the whole racing deal, and I can classify the whole thing as some idiots driving in circles.  But by no means can I tell them they don't know as much as I do on the subject of racing, nor could I easily take offense if they started accusing me of ignorance and stupidity.  I just wouldn't care, I would have no interest in racing anyways.  Why do you seem care so much?

Quoteyeh and there are millions of copies of the harry potter books, what's your point?
Harry Potter was written by one person, and even she made numerous mistakes throughout the series.  Yet, the Bible was written by dozens and dozens of people, a majority  of whom would never meet or communicate, all living hundreds and thousands of years apart, and all of their stories match up.  I have yet to ever have heard any real evidence disproving the Bible's consistancy.
