Didn't have enough time for a long reply, but I can give you a few quick tips.

- Have the head bob seperatly from the rest of the body a bit.  It'll look more natural, less stiff.

- Don't make the 'front' and 'back' arms mirror eachother in movement.  Change a few pixels, at least, so it is less confusing to the eye.  One arm lands in exactly the same position as the other.  Legs do the same, but aren't as big of a problem.

- It might be a good idea to move his hair around a bit, just to add more life.

That's all for now.. Good work!

Hopefully I'll get around to seeing this today.. I trust Burton and Depp enough to assume that I will get an entertaining movie.

Blackthorne, I think you ought to be much more specific, rather than throwing around the occasional 'cliche' and 'steaming pile of shit'.  I'd much rather you gave us some useful opinions.  Otherwise, none of us are benefiting from this discussion, and perhaps only angers are provoked.

I have a terrible addiction to icecream (like most people who've posted) and yogurt.   Any time of day is a good time for those two yums!

I crave them constantly.

Well, since the thead's been bumped...

I have sucky eyes.  It's not a chronic illness per se, but heck, neither are many of the other things here!

I became cross eyed as an infant, had a surgery in preschool which kinda fixed it, had another one in 1st grade and the latest in 3rd grade.  Now, I have a lazy eye, but can control it (make it normal again, etc.).  It usually only goes out when I'm tired or bored, because I don't notice the double vision as well.  A fourth surgery seems unlikely at this point.  Ooh, right, and I am also nearsighted, have a strong astigmatism, and some other small, random problems.  Meaning, without glasses, everything is blurry.   :P

I also tend to do things, be positive that I did indeed do them, but run back to make sure anyway.  "Did I close that door?"  etc.

Hoo-hah!

Peter Cushing?  Grand Moff Tarkin from Star Wars, numerous horror movies...

Not positive, though.

San Andreas is totally fajawesome.  I enjoyed the new additions such as more player customization, more planes, and a bit more story than usual.  It was slightly buggy, but nothing terribly noticable.  Parachuting kicks major boot-ay, probably my favorite advancement yet.  Much, much bigger, as well.  Though, at times, the distance I would need to travel to get from A to B was a little too great, but I don't see how that could really be avoidable.  As for the next GTA installment, I'd very much like to see it take place in the 70's.

Now, is it just me, or are the cars faster this time around?

Flukeblake: There is absolutely no Driver/GTA war that I know of.  Driver is not a very good series, and I doubt that "The Driver"  mission is meant to be any real reference.  And,  I hate to drag this on, but what makes 3D so important?  Not being 3D for its entire life span is not a negative point of the GTA series.  2D games can be okay, you know...

Tom Sellach (sp)?

Magnum PI, 3 Men and a Baby, and numerous others, far as I can remember.

That statement could apply to absolutely any place imaginable.

Hah!  Excellent!  Those 'little turds' were indeed getting out of hand ;)

Had no idea this would become law.  A lovely surprise.  Though, hell, most will break the rules anyways.  But now there are consequences.

Only, this is only regarding car bass, right?  Heh, I don't want to be arrested for my next Starbucks gig.

And it seems that I shall enter.  I apparently have my vacation the exact time Brittens starts and ends, so I should be back here right before this officially begins.

I'm involved in other projects, but, heck, it's only one week!  I need to get something out there.

Yar!

2x:

Cap'n Danny Treadmill

Well, pirates count as fearless military leaders, right?  Ah, and that's a possum he has, rather than a traditional parrot.

Even so, JudgeDeadd, perhaps it would still be too soon to be releasing unfinished work?...

Anyways, I'll probably be in myself.  At least a screenshot.  Now, for all of us who posted 'I'm in!".. we create new posts when done, rather then edit the original posts, correct?

Photoshop can manipulate and/or create images.  Imageready can do some of this, but is primarily used for animation.

Both are made by Adobe, both have the ability to save as and to open .psd's.

Audacity can change pitch, speed, tempo, give a "Bass Boost" and numerous other coolties.

Thanks for your comments!   I've obliged to most by now, but I'm still working.

Changes: Image Mapping (wee!),  more colored bits, broken links (wee!), and a somewhat better font, though I'll probably switch to Times New Roman next update.  I went with client side image maps, as far as I can tell.  I'm still testing the water with that.  :P

Anyways, I'll keep chugging along.  I'll update with more progress later.

I've recently signed up with sitesled, and, to be honest, I don't know much about web design in general.  However, I managed to sketch, scan, and color until I got this:

http://www.sitesled.com/members/tiki/tiki-layout.gif

Now, I'm experimenting with that "Tiki Man's" art style - the shading, proportions, all that.  Therefore, as I continue work on this, I'd appreciate some C & C to help keep me on the right path.   Especially his left foot, around the heel.  That's been a rather large headache for me.

Obviously, the uncolored bits are the unfinished bits, and the boxes and such will be links.  Besides graphical C & C, perhaps somebody could give advice on the placing of these links and text?  It seems a bit jumbled to me, but that may be unavoidable.

Perhaps I was wrong in submitting this before it was finished, but I currently don't see the error in doing so.  Regardless - thanks in advance!  I really do need some help here!

Edit:  Check http://tiki.sitesled.com and the latest post

Excellent!  You've finally finished it.   Downloading now.  I need to change my pants...

Will update with excessive praise after I play it a bit.

Edit:  Most awesome.  A clear step up.  Voice acting is magnificent, though there may be a line or two at some points that doesn't match the other (ie. emotion).  Still, it must have been quite a feat.  *Golf clap*

I've simply made an offline 'website' that organizes all aspects of my game.  The main page features links to "Story", "Dialog", "Characters", etc, and each of those branches off to other links, such as "Character art" or a to-do list.

Simple yet effective.

Alas, nobody is able to top

It's impossible.  Even for Sotoeovoeon.
