Ah, I remember watching those series.  Most of them had stopped running by the time I was old enough to care, so it seems, but I'd watch my brother's tapes and rent episodes from Video Stores and such.

Good times, crappy TV shows - Synomic to me then.

Legge - a perfect example of one of our beloved AGSers who left in his prime.

Oh, I mourn him so.

Hmm... I'm using a Screenshot  Save GUI as well, though it's not any of the above, and I have a slight problem.

See, the game is 256 colors - therefore, any room outside of the one you were in at the time of saving shows that screenshot to have a very messed up pallate.  So, I'm wondering..

How can I make this Save Screenshot GUI work in a 256 game?  Could I make the screenshot in black and white somehow, which could be universal colors?  Is there some way to use a seperate room as the Save Game Menu?

Thanks, I'm fairly sure nobody's had this particular problem before...

Darnit.  I was rooting for the Eagles.

Still, that was a mighty good game.  Very close, at 24 - 21.

HeirofNorton:  I'd like to see those verses you're talking about before I take anything you've said seriously.  I recognize some parts, but I seriously doubt that there is a verse entirely like the one you mentioned.  If you can show a verse, then I might have something worthwhile to reply with.  People just shouldn't saying things about the Bible and/or God,  unless they actually cite verses from the Bible itself to back them up -- even if they are Christians.

"The best spell checker is the one in your head."
... or was that about calculators?

Anyways, to make up for my lack of animation...  :=

hehe, love the slap bass solo near the end.  ;)

Very nice song overall, just what I've come to expect from you lately.   Now, excuse me while I attempt pronouncing your last name.

Oh, and Merry Christmas!  :=

I had made this a few months ago, just for personal use.  I also make ones of my main projects, showing the main character's head or something, so I can find the folder easier.

Quote from: Raggit on Thu 09/12/2004 03:15:45God doesn't get angry when you mock the Bible and ridicule him.  He isn't sitting on his throne just waiting for you to mess up so he can scream "Eternal condemnation on you!"  However, that doesn't mean he'll tolerate it forever.  You have to choose whether you except him or not.  So don't get too defensive thinking that God hates you.
Coming from a different Christian perspective, I have to say, I don't really agree.  Yeh, I'm buddies with many of these AGSers who're mocking my religion.  I don't like what they do, but I don't preach to them every time they get carried away.  Also ... I don't think God has a magic number that he uses... I mean, if he isn't going to tolerate what they are doing later, he shouldn't now either.  God doesn't change, and neither do his views on sin.  Those who mock him are still sinning, whether it's their first time or 500th time, he doesn't like it.  He loves them, mind, but he doesn't tolerate what they are doing.  And, if they don't repent ... they'll end up paying for it in the end.  Now, I do not think he's up there yelling "Eternal condemnation on you!" either.  Mostly because we were all born sinners.  These AGSin' folk didn't just become sinners when they typed their 'witty' replies.  They've been them.  I am a sinner.  Besides, he doesn't want us in Hell, naturally.

Oh, sure, blame it ALL on me!  :P

heh, I had tried frantically to finish in time, but I couldn't.  I also couldn't release it as it was.  So, I decided to give it a few more weeks to work on.  I had assumed that you'd be posting something that very day, rather than silently waiting for me.  I had also hoped for someone else to post an entry.

I'll still be releasing my game soon, though, that's a fact.   So, this contest wasn't a waste at all, seeing as you already have one new game out of it, and one other soon...

Oh, and congratulations Sinitrena!

Day of the Tentacle!   Following that ... perhaps CMI?

For the past week or so, I've been spending roughly 10 hours each day, working on my game.  Like Timosity said, you learn a lot, but I wouldn't really recommend someone else to go that extreme.  I've been slowing down a bit today, I've only spent an hour or so...

Usually, though, I only spend about 3 hours every other day.  I try to get myself to work every day, but then I just put it off too much, and the only reason I work the next day is to catch up.

Heh, so yeah ... my work ethics vary quite a bit.
