You read the subject, foo'!  Lets hear some backstories!

As for mine:  There was a 'TikiTikiMan' in an early Crash Bandicoot game, and I just randomly thought of it as a name one day.   I used to spell it with two 'k's, but now use one.  The two 'k's still haunt me daily.  I had used to be called 'RJD' and 'Chicken' (heh, OSC) before being Tiki, or TikiTikiMan.  There have also been numerous numbers in my name, such as TikiTikiMan13.

There are numberous outline inconsistancies that bug me a bit.  Also, the outlines look a little shaky.   Some coloring is out of the line it is supposed to be, etc.

Nice work.

Humanity?  Pshaw, that was devoured ages ago.  Now it's all robots and monkeys.

Meh, I don't really have much against Adobe, but I don't like seeing small companies disected.

The light gray thingie on the middle-right stands out a bit.  The rest of the image is quite dark, but it is light up like a christmas tree, nearly.  I suggest more shading, or overall darkness.

Other 'n that, top notch work.

Isn't he gone?

To be frank, I'm content with the actual Sierra SQ1 VGA.  And I know Khaveen, who is making the SQ3 Remake, and he is still working on it.
I suppose you may still want to make yours, however, and I can't stop you....

It can't be Zor, he has released games before.

Edit:  I say OSC (chicken)

36 hours without power!  Yeee!

I got some catching up to do.  I'll have pictures eventually.

Darth:  Yeah, I'm still here.   Saturday night was pretty bad.  Sat afternoon, however, I took a stroll around the neighborhood.  Winds were about 30 - 40 on my little outing....
Yesterday, I went resaurant hunting.  BIG mistake.  For lunch, I looked from 11:30 to 2:40.  We found two or three places, but they were completely MOBBED, with an hour and a half wait to get seated.  We eventually found Brooklyn Brothers Pizzaria, and waited another hour for some food.  Not because of lines, however.  Stupid cooks.

And don't get me started on dinner....

Er...Farlander...

CJ's nick on the forums isn't CJ.  As I'm sure you are aware of, it is 'Pumaman.'  Therefore, wouldn't it seem odd if it said you were logged in a 'CJ'?

Teehee, tis funny to try out, however.  I feel....like I COULD TAKE ON THE WORLD!

Man, all the Home Depots have full parking lots, empty shelves, and lines out to the street, nearly.  The gas stations either have 20 cars in a line, or they are completely out of gas.  The highways heading North and just insane, but heading south is quite empty, I must say.

I've spent the last 5 - 6 hours helping my grandparents in Delray Beach.  They haven't used some of those shutters in a decade, and my Grandpa broke his arm this week trying to get some of them up.

Now, I just need to spend this afternoon getting my shutters up.  Thankfully, they are the accordian type, so it should be somewhat easy.  My mom is hopefully flying out to Indiana tomorrow morning, to catch my Aunt's wedding.

I doubt you guys will be hearing from me for a few days at least, except for today and maybe the wee hours of tomorrow.

Gah, good luck to the other Floridians/Future storm victums.

Hey, I lived through Hurricane Andrew, I think I this will be a piece of cake.

A very windy cake, that is.Ã,  That moves quickly, and swirls around, and throws cows and ruins homes and...

The outlines need to be a little more consitant.  Some parts will have a black outline, others wont.  Both versions of these characters need to have that fixed.

Good job, though.

Alright, I whipped up a quick redo of that walk cycle.  I hadn't read all off your comments when I did this,  so some things that were suggested you won't see yet.   A few people had told me to add a frame or two in IRC, but I don't know where to add them without screwing up the feet.

I'll be fixing that back hand next...

DanClarke:  Can you show me a screenie from No Action Jackson?  I don't really know what the main character looks like, I just remember that it was similar to DOTT... I had made this char with the intentions of having him look like me.

I believe that the competition would turn out better every time we have one, assuming that they aren't done as far apart as the last two.Ã,  The new users in the competition will learn from past ATCs, and the veterans will know exactly what they are doing.Ã,  Ã, We can't expect the first few ATC's to have all teams finish, or even the majority.Ã,  We need to give it time...

As for my team, we most certainly will finish the game, hopefully before the AGS Awards, and many other teams have said the same, so by no means was this ATC a waste.  We (hopefully) will get more than 2 games out of it, games that would never have happened under other circumstances.

ooh, very nice job, Aboris.Ã,  I dig the shading.Ã,  If you'll allow me to get a little nitpicky...

- Perhaps you should shade the hair a bit more?Ã,  Some parts seem a little plain.

- Also, his eyes are quite a bright blue...very blue indeed.Ã,  But, you may want to keep it the way it is

- Lastly, he has a very tiny crotch, but that could be your style...

Good job, most definately.

Critics' Lounge / C&C my new Walk Cycle, Foo'!
Sun 15/08/2004 20:53:08
hello, hello.  It's been awhile since I've made a walk cycle, so I figured I should create one and post it for you all to devour.   The legs, I'm content with, but the arms look slightly off.  Any suggestions, paintovers, etc is appreciated.

Its supposed to be me, by the way.

Yup, those arms are off.  Perhaps I should add some head bobbing, as well?
