A man goes to a cinema box office and says "One ticket, please."
And the cashier says: "Please go to the back of the line." and the man answers: "I can't. There already is somebody."

If they hadn't invented electricity, we would have to watch TV with candle light.

Never mind, family issues are always bad!
#104
Wow, that's quite tough! I just know one!
#105
I don't know. I think Pablo would have won anyway, wouldn't he?
#106
Okay, this seems to have been harder than I thought it would be.

However, here are the answers:
1. Runaway - A Road Adventure - Most people knew that
2. Simon the Sorcerer 3D - This one was way harder, only one person guessed it. Somebody said "The feeble Files". Even though it would make sense, that, in a game called "The feeble Files", you would carry around a CD with "The feeble Files", this would be too easy!
3. Space Quest 3 - Obviously an extreme popular game, almost everbody knew that one!
4. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
5. The feeble Files - Not a single person knew that! This one was the question where "The feeble Files" is right!
6. Syberia
7. Flight of the Amazon Queen - Only one person who knew that. What a shame! Play this game, it's really good!
8. Well, I tried to pick unique inventory items, but it seems, that there is more than one game with an portable dimension hole as an inventory item!
The game I had in mind was Toonstruck!
Strange Visitor's answer, however, was "Multi-dimensional Thief".
After some research I found out, that in this game you really have such an inventory item.
So, since he did name a game with a dimension hole and noone else knew an answer he gets the two points!
9. Broken Sword 3 - The sleeping Dragon - Another one noone got! Somebody saind "Solomon's Key", but this game doesn't seem to be an adventure game and I wouldn't make it that simple!
10. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - I tried to be mean with this one, but two people knew it nonetheless! I wanted to write "no tea" first, but well... Great game, by the way!

Well, and the winner is:
Strange Visitor with 14 points!

After that come:
Sergio Cornaga with 12 points,
Pablo and Radiant with 4 points,
and pslim with 2 points.

Well, Visitor, it's your turn!

When will the winner be choosen?
#108
I got another set of answers by the Strange Visitor.
And the rest of you: You still got a day. Use it... if you dare!

The Rules
* This is a quiz about adventure gaming trivia. Each installment has about a dozen questions with a common theme, about well-known adventure games, either classics or from the more famous "indie" games. Suggested themes include but are not limited to inventory items, music, easter eggs or forest creatures.
* Each question is worth two points if correct, one for a partial answer, and three if you have a better answer than the person who made up the question.
* This thread is for hints and feedback, as well as noting your participation. Please send answers by PM to prevent people from peeking. The quizmaster will post all answers when the quiz ends.
* As with most activities, the winner of this quiz will be the quizmaster of the next one. In case of a tie, the person who submitted earlier is considered the winner.
* I'm setting a deadline of a week, then give me a few days to look over all answers, and give the winner a few days to come up with something new. The result should be a biweekly quiz, or thereabouts.

Yeah, I know, it took a while, and I'm sorry, but I tried to come up with something halfway good, and here it is:

Iventory Invasion!

Well, what does this cheesy name mean?
Simple: I'll show you a list of things that have been inventory items at any time and you have to name the related (commercial) adventure game.
A little hint: There is no answer twice!
So without further ado, the items:

1. a finger in a jar of formaline
2. a CD with "The feeble Files"
3. an orat-on-a-stick
4. orialchum beads
5. a James Dean puppet
6. A Voralberg key
7. comedy breasts
8. a teleportation hole
9. solomos Key
10. a thing your aunt gave you wich you don't know what it is

EDIT: Yes, I actually meant orialchum beads. I only have the german version of the related game and I just translated back the term. Sorry for that.
And the last thing was actually given by the aunt.
Sorry for this confusion!

I did this quite quickly, so it contains mistakes, but well...

Okay, I think it's time to end this competition and choose the winner.
Well, Neil had the better style but I liked MrBen's story more.
So the winner is...

me, for this entry:

No, just kidding!Ã,  ;D I made this one just for kicks!
The real winner is MrBen! Sorry, Neil...
Go for it, Ben!
#115
Alright, thank you!
I mean, everything's gotta have it's correctness.
Well, that's it, somebody can lock this thing up now!
#116
Yay, great!
I actually won!
But now it's up to me, to come up with new questions. Gimme some time, please!

6. I'm sick of making up stupid stories! ( -- then make up stories that aren't stupid! )
.. Intro sequence from Zak McKracken.Ã,  A guess was MI2. Nobody knew this one either, even if it's nearly the first line in-game. I suppose I'm one of the few people that likes Zak a lot.
Wait, I did know it!
Here's an excerpt from my post:

6. Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, said by Zak (and his boss)

Pity, that I didn't have the second Loom quote right, but I didn't recognize the english wording.

Well, enough of my drivel, I should get to work!

Okay, and this would make ManicMatt the winner by default (once again)!!!
However, you deserved it nevertheless!
I hope you had fun. I did!
Well, it's your turn.
