What about people who are saving the actual programming of their game for last?

What the hell are you going on about?

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, Conan O'Brien, The Daily Show, Cartoon Network's Adult Swim (Sunday) are all good enough to keep me watching. Not to mention reruns of shows like SNL, Drew Carey, Whose Line Is It Anyway (US or British)...  I dunno, it's enough for me. If none of these things are on I usually just find something else to do.

What LOTR is: extremely immersive, spectacular entertainment. It's very highly detailed, state of the art, and thousands of hours were put into it by the creators. It doesn't need any more story than it already has. What it has is a chunk out of Middle Earth's imaginary history that lends itself to an engaging storyline which lends itself to many interesting characters and situations. The underlying gist of the story is simple; everything else, save for maybe the depth of the characters, is vastly detailed and masterfully illustrated in the films.
And it's a perfect example of it was dreamed to be. I can't wait to see the third film.

78%.. only slightly depressing.

I've never read the book and this still looks really interesting.
Is it just me, or is the film industry actually looking up lately? We're getting lauded films like LOTR, Kill Bill, the Matrix, etc. Not to mention that independant film is incredibly popular right now.

A movie doesn't change.
Right now "classic" means that people still enjoy it decades later, but I don't see any reason why its meaning can't be stretched to mean "something that is likely to still be enjoyed decades from now." Maybe we should just come up with a new word and end the confusion. Like... PRECLASSIC.

It's... something green.

But Cat in the Hat uses make-up effects, doesn't it?

Mediocre digital effects? Could you please point us to what you'd consider top-quality CGI?

I agree that Homer's character is not as tactfully funny as it used to be, but to the writers' credit they have been trying to tone down the "stupid jerk stupidity" that he's been accused of exhibiting. In Sunday's episode he didn't do anything too stupid for the sake of a joke. He did some stupid stuff, but it was part of the plot and he resolved his own mistakes.

Nah, I don't care about dumb reviews at all. What really pleases me though, is that there hasn't been one negative review of PPP2 yet. At all. The lowest score is 6. :)

Yeah. Actually, it's currently the third highest ranked movie on Newgrounds, although ridiculously high scores aren't uncommon for popular new movies.
