Also the plugin system will need to be made crossplatformfriendly which ofcourse will also be a bitch to do (unless the most popular plugin get integrated into the engine itself), the current plugin-system as I know it is too windows-specific (that's why they also don't work on the linux/mac versions of the engine)..
Luckily, most all of the plugins have been modularized. Sure, there are some that can't be, including new ones, but AGS scripting can do a ton of things.

Oh yeah, totally forgot about the Pirate language. A friend showed me that on their account, but forget to set it on mine.

I think the two panoramic pics you have linked in the OP look very nice. So far I've only found one mistake (on the blue car).

Well, it's obviously specific to the CustomDialogGui module, but the function setAutosizeCorners is a member of the CustomDialogGui struct.

As for the error, I'm guessing you're using it in a module script that is above the CustomDialogGui script. You can right click modules and 'Move Up' or 'Move Down'.

Unless I'm wrong, in which case that won't help.

P.S., I am quoting this as a record of the date you became sentient...("Date Registered:     05 Jun 2007, 15:51"). 8)
True, my life was just mindless living (except playing classic Lucas/Sierra adventure games of course) before I found AGS.

I'd also add Levels to Khris's list of tools. It's pretty easy to use, so don't even bother with Auto-Level.

General Discussion / Re: Worst drivers.....

Not if you go to Utah. Utahns hate Cali-drivers (but everyone else in the West US hates Utahn drivers)

I got a Facebook because, after a recent visit to England, it became clear it was the best way to keep in touch with all the people I met, who all used Facebook religiously.
I'm similar. I use FB to keep in touch with those I went to highschool with.
And, a lot of people I know like FB better cause there are less 'porno-type' ads than Myspace.

Just found this thread again. :D
I'm 13. Can I come to mittens?

Darth's reply is definitely the best.

Hudders, you're wrong about Stupot's original post, although mail.com does have tons of subdomains to choose from. (though I have always stuck with plain-old mail.com)
He's talking about a different service... but I can't recall the name either.

My bro just told me about the new Profiles feature of Firefox. Seems pretty cool.

@monkey, have you seen the IETab plugin? That's what a lot of people use to circumvent that problem.

Can't stand IE or Netscape. Right now, I'm switching between Chrome (currently in use) and Firefox 3 every couple of months. Safari is nice if I'm on a Mac, and I've never used Opera.

And Mods, good to hear that your comp is working again.

Ah, I forgot about that. Considering it says under the events pane "Player..." for each, I'd say that you are right.

So if it's the player, you should be covered. Otherwise, use GetAtRoomXY in the rep_exec.

Which is one reason CJ is updating the Audio system in the next version, but you would have to update to 3.2 when it comes out, and there must be some reason you're still stuck back in 2.72.

1) Use regions, not hotspots. If something happens when you walk onto it, then use a region.

2) Use the static Region.GetAtRoomXY to check which character is there. The manual includes a script that will work for you.

Wow! This excellent module just got even better! The icon support looks awesome abs.

Like I said above, read on textboxes in the manual, and also custom guis.

Or you could just use the Game.InputBox for now, which creates it for you.

PS-Creator, I don't think he wants to cancel this choice ;)

Ahah. I wasn't even thinking of what was going on internally.... But I already knew that a while loop is the best and tried (and failed) to suggest an alternative. Oh well ;D
