Isn't that when voting starts though?
#122
Has voting started yet? If so, mine goes to Akatosh since Planescape: Torment is badass.
#123
We're now up to episode 8, and I'm using PNGs now.
#124
Bump!

I will be doing the last few suggestions later today, but if anyone else has one drop 'em on me!

I'm making this thread into a video series on Youtube; stay tuned for linkage.
#126
Do you guys think I should redo them as pngs so they're not so lossy?
#127
I don't know why I didn't to start with, to be honest. jpg was just what I saved it as. :P

It's not like the art is anything sophisticated (yet?) so artifacting isn't really a worry of mine, but if it's that distracting I'll consider redoing them as pngs.
#128
I could use pngs if I wanted to. :P

Episode 4 is up, and I've made some changes you might like.
#130
I know that it's a bit formulaic right now, but I'm not going to be following that storyboarding template for very long, honestly. ^_^

*goes to make episode 4*
#132
I don't think there is, unfortunately.

I'd love to say it'll have exceptionally good comedy but it probably won't. :P I'm not in this to make a vastly successful webcomic that everyone loves. I may at some point upgrade the art style but I haven't decided yet.

ManicMatt: These things will all be addressed in future strips, trust me. Stickman can't show any emotions -yet-, and Stickman can't move -currently-. It's the strip where anything can and probably will happen, just not right away. :P
#135
Of course it is. I made it quite clear in the newspost that this was just something for me. Sure, I could draw the art properly, use a better font (though I haven't used Comic Sans anywhere :P) and use better compression, but that was never the point of the strip in the first place.

I'm not actually expecting anyone to like it to be honest, but I've made it and I'm putting it out there for people to see anyway.

So I used to do this comic on paper whenever I felt down, about a stickman called Stickman and his pet rat, Rat. It's not really -about- anything, there's no storyline, there aren't even many real jokes, it's just a silly random comic but it's mine and I like it. And now I have decided to share it with the world! Lucky you. So here it is:

If you like it, let me know. If you don't like it, let me know. If you wish people who put tripe like this on the internet would just die already...let me know that too. And hopefully, it's inane and horrible enough that you'll keep going back for more (it'll update daily)

Enjoy! Or don't. Your call really.

General Discussion / Re: Snow!

I'm up at Elgin in Scotland. We've had a bit of snow here, but nothing drastic. It's the coldest recorded winter in 13 years though, apparently.

I think it works in Phoenix Wright because there's no backtracking or wondering if you actually -have- the item that will get you further. You have everything you need, the trick is to work out what's needed and when.

I'm willing but not able. My house isn't big enough to withstand it.

In the gritty streets of Phatt Island, you gotta be tough.

Work is slow. The phone's on the hook, stubbornly refusing to ring just like it has been for the past half hour.

I'm about to call it a day when a feisty broad stumbles through my door. She's a brunette; they always are. She's got legs that could knock out Mike Tyson and a rack that could hold an Italian mother's entire spice collection.

She needs a job done. Who doesn't in this town? Says some undead zombie pirate keeps trying to kidnap her and make her his corpse bride. I bite back the urge to laugh - I've never heard such a far-fetched story in my entire career - and say something vaguely reassuring, urging her to continue.

She must see something of the skepticism on my face, because she assures me it's true, gets desperate. He tried to get her on Melée Island, she says, and Plunder Island too. She says something about a hare-brained scheme to have some sort of supernatural undead wedding. I'm only half listening.

I take the job anyway. When a job needs doing, it needs doing by a man who can hold his breath for ten minutes.
