Why is all the shit in the world always directly related to one country?

I'd have to recommend Escape from New York with Kurt Russell. Bad ass guy in a bad ass city trying to save the president from Isaac Hayes: Awesomeness.

I'm not bbuying a car though, so I'll be needing a form of transportation. One that'll last for some time too.

New tires, tire irons and air pump: $30 max, cheaper if you look around.  New chain, or chain link removing tool + white grease: $20 tops.  Brakes just slow you down, and bikes are made to GO!  But seriously, are the pads broken or wires snapped or something?  All of that can be fixed/replaced without too much trouble.  Any decent small-time bike shop will sell material/tools to you at decent prices, or even hook you up with used parts from wrecks they've inherited.
I would never spend anything like $400 on a bike.  The only bicycle I ever purchased was for a cool $20 at a police auction -they usually have these 1-2 times a year to get rid of all the bikes they've seized from bike thieves (owners don't come forward or can't identify bike if it's been painted, etc.).  I say find a cheaper bike, and save your money for small-time indie adventure games!

Well, on my first bike the centre fell of and the paddles weren't attached to anything then. On the second one I've changed the tired 15 times within a month, the hoop is crooked, so it hits the break on every round and slows me down, then the chain broke and fell. On my current bike, some idiot kicked the saddle unsitable, and then someone stole it along with the tube, which apparently is wider than anything they have in stores, and I'd need to order it from the factory for many monies. PLus ste gearsystem is too ols, a couple of springs don't return the handlees to their positions, so I can only use 3 different gears. Bascially I'd have to buy a new saddle+tube, gears & breaks and wires. And the tires are wide as hell. It's like paddling in a swamp when you're on flatland.

Here's why:

I got my salary, and have had problems with my bikes for 2 years now, broken tires, breaks, chains, you name it. Also, it's going to be snowy soon, so everythings really cheap now. So I've been to a couple of stores, smaller ones really, there aren't big markets in the city, and I can't go all that way.

So the Sportsverein in the centre's got these, and shitloads of them for 399â,¬ each: http://www.scott-sports.com/us_en/product/10058/55829/218074

Another, a bigger place only specialised in bicycles sells basically just Insera, from which the Tronic 28'' 24V (399â,¬) and MG-8 28'' 8V (499â,¬)

Other than that, well, I'd probably have to go further. Of course, both places say that their bikes are awesome, and you really don't need anything else. what do you think?

We're actually going mushroom-hunting tomorrow to a national park. You almost got me worried there, but I'm glad to know, that this species is very scarce in Finland, met seldomly in just a few places far from where I'm going. Nevertheless they say it's the cause for almost 90% of fungus-deaths :) None recorded here though.

I'm not a pro, so I'm probably going to stick to the basic ones this time too, that is chantarelles, Boletales (what ever you call them) there's shitloads of them everywhere now :), and Lactarius (what ever you call them, milk-caps?)...

Both are grammatically correct, as you said, but it's a good rule, that writing scientifical text, you don't use the ', you write the whole words like do not and it is instead of don't & it's. This I learned in ground school.

Yeah! Though I must admit I'm a bit sad I didn't get to strike the fatal blow :( Go us!
#169
Actually we could easily win this in 3 moves.

Ryan, true, I'd quit too, but it's not my call, or yours. It's up to the guys of the white team. If they will, we'll go on forever.

Because I consider myself at least an amateur musician, I took the liberty of answering your survey :)
#172
stupid question, because I really don't know... but couldn't you easily do this with google docs system?
#173
I'll deliver it all right. On the back of your head! :D

So... did the turns start over, because I thought my turn was going to come soon :S

Wonderful wonderful albums, I have those exact two :)

ah, that made my day

Yeah, I've been looking for them for years, but you can't get either under 50â,¬ in Finland. I also bought some ELO records, one from Barclay James Harvest and one from Alan Parson's Project, but these were the top 2 purchases of the whole trip :D

So... they've been paying the team full salary for 12 years? Not bad for game coders I guess. I bet most workers would love to spend more years developing a game.

Nice to meet you too, my good man. We've got a newbies thread too, but no-one reads that anyway :D

If you wanted art, you'd just have to go take a look at the critics lounge, there's a thread for hiring partners. A lot of people here are great artists and help... That is, if you really have a good idea or are good at coding a game.

Also, and correct me if I'm wrong, but if you scroll down the forum main page, you'll find the RoN forums. You can start by making a game using characters and art that's already been in a game or two. Afaik they're there for everyone to use.

I'd sure like to have that option too. It irks me, when the cursor jumps to places while I try to write an essay or anything. All I could do so far was to move the mouse away from the screen. That, or disable tapping :)

You don't attack unless there's a reason to, man. Ok, no point drawing it back, I guess.
