Hi again

I bought a set of bongo drums. The point is to use them to create music for my game-to-be. Now I was wondering if anyone had ever recorded this before at home. You see, I do have a mic-headset, which I use for the flute, but it's not ideal either, and by no chance with bongos. I mean,Ã,  I considered getting one drum mic, that is if they sell them one at a time, but is it really worth it? I'm still going to record straight to my computer through the mic hole and with Audacity because I don't know better. I do though have the feeling, that the headset-mic won't take in the bongos.

Now I know there's people here who've done recordings more or less. I also want to record my flute, but don't want the microphone to cost more than the flute did :) . Which leads me to the next question. Should you know one and be able to help me, what would the cost be. If it will go to spending lots of money just to make a small difference, then I'll rather just use midi, which I really really hate (can't emphasize enough).

Thanks for ideas in advance.

Yeah, err, My guess is what Geoffkhan said. And a virus it is not, no chance, no way, never. They don't do that, and they don't come from here.

Ok, might as well mention, just to make it comprehensive www.renvallt.blogspot.com And don't even think of reading it, it's in Finnish.

a giant pokey thing going in a hairy hole! The natural gift of sex

I love the way you state it :D

Actually I'm so sick of all the tv shows making beeps whenever there's a curseword, or the ballyhoo about a nipple in one shot of a movie.

My suggestion? Users can only start one new thread a weekÃ,  :=

Sounds great, 200 new threads every monday!

This is kinda like Dan_N_Gamez's Q&A session.

That actually got locked ::) And I think for a reason, as will this one too... :P

I must say, this is extremely exeptional! I love it in a way. I just think, if you wan't crits, the second bg is a bit different to the rest. But I kind of love it. I wonder though where you got the character from. Looks a bit odd, but odd in a good way! :D

General Discussion / Re: The power of Google

Well it's a bit creepy. I once had someone call me in the middle of the night, just before our early morning trip to Russia. She really knew everything about me but refused to tell who she was. She knew about my family, their names, schools, professions, what colour car we drove, even the names of my late pet rabbits. She did say though that I didn't know her, but she fancied me... funny thing.

I don't mind it really, people are allowed to know stuff, as long as they don't use it. Even if google knew my bloodtype and the distance between my toes, I don't think they'd have any reason to use that information. Everyone knows I surf the net for weird stuff, like these forums. Who cares. But if it turns into stalking like that there above, well then, they're a quite big corporation to be spying on someone, but I wouldn't like that. Even though I kind of liked the fact that someone was stalking me. Even though she never contacted me after that so it really wasn't stalking...

I like the way it sounds, I always played this differently. I do though agree with Nik, it is probably a bit thin. I think it would benefit from lower tones played more often. But the Evans is clearly there :)

I never got any cards... no SMS, no spam... :'( :'( :(

I did get up to 5 new friends, a couple of kisses and bloody drunk though, so I guess that covers it :=

I find it hard to believe this. First of all, you don't get 40 years from killing a student with a battle-axe. I don't know which country this was though, but 40 years is absurd. the most they could do to me here would be firing me and not letting me be a substitute teacher anymore. If this is true, in what ever country this was, I wouldn't even fart in the bus because of being afraid of a punishment.

Surely it happened in school, and I assume this was groundschool, so the children were between what, 7 and 10? But still, 40 years is ridiculous. I don't believe this story, AND, I don't believe that if the facts are as stated, that it was her fault in any way.

I myself opened a computer once in school, though then I was a student, not a teacher, my French teacher was right behind me, and someone had cunningly placed goatse as desktop image. Of course I told the teacher it wasn't me, but she knew that already. Anyway, the whole thing sounds ridiculous. And what's more, where could she find 20 pop-up windows to pop up on her desktop? why not just do it the usual way and opening pornotube.com...

how can you call this a pub when there's no ashtrays and more importantly no beer? I'm going to the one next door. And for the topic as it is, them terrorist should have been tought better not to bully people.

Oh my God Haddas! Don't do this to us!Ã,  :'( :'( Can't you see you are smiling? After all these years! I'm disappointed.

Anyways folks. Timosity went around down under, I went to visit my sister in Hungary, so here's some photos from there!

I removed the rest from this to give you a better view. Those plates above the gulass are a part of my gypsy roast that I got for about 7 euros. I've never eaten such a plate :D

We were on a train up in the high hills. This was called the pioneer train, which started during the time of communists as a place for children from 10 to 14 years of age to learn how to work as train cashiers and everything. They still only have workers, like boy/girlscouts actually, but the railway is nowadays called childrens railway instead of pioneers. so that's me and my sister and a forest of oaks behind us (which actually isn't visible because it was 4 pm and there was a cloud around us, that and the angle of a picture. But the forest was awesomely huge!).

So after itÃ,  2pac ->rap<- vs. metal !* 50 cent don't ask me where this comes from but thought I'd do the yo-hand thing them rap people do. Kept my dignity though.

And I saw the Budapest Symphonic orchastra performing Brahms who is my favourite at the famous opera house. We were up high as seen from here, and basically the first 30 minutes I was all dizzy and couldn't look anywhere but behind me. Then listening to the music made me more confident, and eventually I was able to look down at the players despite my fear of heights.

The some natural geographic historical museum or something had a photograph display, and we thought as it was the last day, we'd go see it. here's me and my sister at the sign which indicates the place.

Little did we know of the fact that they would close all the museums for mondays, but this one for tuesdays... now where the hell is the logic in that?

for som reason unknown to me, my sisters boyfriend had to photograph every disease ridden alley cat. This one wouldn't stop to pose, so the pic is shaken :(

Ok, I guess I just wanted to write/enter more than opening the compo myself. But mostly because I don't see myself in the position of plainly changing completely good rules sir Pires made. I was just thinking if we could find a way to bring it back to life, but I'm pretty bad at making actions like that unless I'm drunk and that we don't want. So this is just a request for a new opened compo. Bah, I have to go catch my train, chat with you later!

40 Days a Virgin? that reminded me, I have a thing for zebras. Especially if you compare them to horses, whom I don't like.

Try working on the sword because it seems like it's floating. Except for what I said and Jon said, the background is preety good!

And do as EllePollack said, and then, about the sword, they never hand the handle downwards, otherwise they'd obviously fall down. But basically you've got it once you fix the perspective. And I guess that would be what he meant with "linear", or "straightening".

You may cannot change the shape.

You see, it's in conditional form, You "may" cannot change... Which means basically that you can change it. I think.

Then why on earth would someone pause the time if they stopped themselves. tHen there would be no-one to start it again!
