I'd replace the drive. It's obviously broken. I don't think it's a software issue.

Now this just got me wondering, who does stuff like this. Ok, it was a bit daft, but I get the point and it fits the point pretty well... I guess. well, I'm not going to watch this again.

That's pretty odd, since HIV was discovered in 1981 :D.

Oh, how silly of me, of course there was no HIV before that.

Well, it is a common procedure, that if you've had sex with a new partner during, what's it, 6 months, you're not supposed to donate blood, unless you've had yourself tested. And one must agree, HIV was pretty common among gay people during the 60's or so, I 'think that's why it's so.

I personally donate blood regularly, though I'm A positive, but that doesn't make me any less than other people.

I fact, now that I remember, last time I donated blood was some time ago, it was the independence day of Finland, don't know the date (so, shoot me). Anyway, later that day my friends appeared at my door with shitloads of beer, and sure I had to drink, I had just moved in, so it was  a party celebrating that. So I drank quite a lot. (How the hell do all my posts lead to drinking too much?). Anyway, didn't feel that different after all. I've never had any problems doanting, no dizzy feelings, now puking or such.

You know, I've been thinking of doing that. but with jamming, it goes nowhere if someone doesn't know his job. I'll let him learn it first.

For some reason I'm getting Justin Timberlake???

You're thinking of "Cry Me A River", and no, I don't think that's it.Ã,  I'd bet my teeth on it.

Anyway, I also think it sounds vaguely familiar.Ã,  Now it's stuck in my head, and it's going to bother the crap out of me.Ã,  Thanks, Tuomas. :P

And now you know how I've felt for the last 6 weeks. I assume we've got a something we'd both like solved :D

I'll have a hard time learning that. Pretty much it's just random notes here and there, but sometimes he gets to where it plays a theme or so with both low and high notes, as in, two hands. I'll see what I can do. at least, I have time, I don't suppose he's going tobe changing the song any day soon :)

General Discussion / The annoying tune

Yeah, I moved in here early december. They guy or girl downstairs plays piano. Ok, no problem with that, the couple of first days I thought it was relaxin in a way, listening to the songs. but after some time I realised he(I'll assume it's a man) keeps playing the same tunes over and over again. So I asked my roommates about it, and they said, yeah, the same tunes have been on for 6 months now. And what strikes me most, the guy sucks, really. I mean, here's the thing. He can play this song where the low pattern and the melody take turns until a certain point, and then he loses it, and starts over. So for fun, I listened to him, learned to play the beginning with my guitar, and sometimes play it really loud when he's playing too, at the same time :) anyway, I recorded the beginning of it, before he loses it.

I was wondering if anyone could recognise this song. Because I think the tune is quite catchy, even though I've never heard the full score.

I'll let him play, why not, he has the right to do it. I often play my guitar here. the guy upstairs plays trumpet, and he's good, my roommate plays europop very loud so all I can hear is this song and boom boom boom every now and then. But it really annoys me, I'd really love to know the name of this tune. thanks.

I don't speak czech, a shame though, I'd love to know it better. But I suggest you mention the language in the topic so our people who can speak it would notice it.

Here he complains while I have this on my desktop. oh my oh my.

Ain't that just too much cuteness in one pic!

Sure it's off perspective and all goofy, but would fit a goofy game with odd perspective quite well. Looks like something made by M. C. Escher. I wouldn't judge too fast.

And as you're at it, correct the shadows on the signs, but don't mess up the shadows on the cactus like Steve did  ;)

What you have here is something that looks like a lot of small rocks piled up together, which afaik is not the way a hill or a big rock look. they look better yes, in one way, but I suggest you go for bigger whole areas than addin those little.

The newly saturated bg of the original forest looks better now imo. Nice job.

I still think chicky is cuter. The original strikes me better.

Sorry to bump in without any links, but the TuneXP link seems to lead nowhere.

Oh well, might just justify my post with a link http://www.download.com/TuneXP/3000-2086_4-10290928.html first thing from google, but as people read the first post as I did, they won't look google.

Have to say, your bgs look better than ever, and that's quite a lot. I love them! Ok, they're a bit too dark for my taste, but awesome.

Have to say I play so little nowadays. that's why I'm not very much "waiting" for games to be ready. But if some, then it would be drugbust and Amulet of Kings... Oh, and I'd very much like to see Buccaneer 2 making some progress, which reminds me, Hobbes, if you ever read this, I hope you haven't found a new sprites, I've got something ready by now :=

Agreed, the colour scheme is excellent. I was just wondering, most digital art I see are either sci-fi stuff or fantasy related. What's in it that excites, I mean, these pictures here are not based on anything but the artists imagination. I myself would draw real stuff or realistic stuff if I had the talent this guy's got, or the amount of practise.

my favourites from here are these

One thing, they're great, but why is it that the other room has walls in front of it and the other one doesn't? Makes the style a bit, how do you say, unstable. I'd say either have them in both or in neither... Oh and for perfectionism, you could try make the window look a bit deeper, it you know what I mean. a bit more 3d. It looks a bit flat, like painted to the wall.

I'd like to see you make this game with AGS :D Looks awesome, in a way, myself, I'm not keen on these kinds of games, but I know a lot of people who are. And I cn see just from the screenshots that you've given an effort, hope it's worthwhile.
