I like your picture, that's actually, imo, a very good way of approaching. What you need to check out once more, if you want it to lookk realisticare the following:
-The legs look a bit like sausages. Make knees, muscles show as well. I don't mean making her muscular, but our limbs tend to get the shape from where our muscles and bones are located.
-Same thing with the hands.
-You see that in the original picture the girl is sitting more straight, she doesn't look like she's having a hard time, so I would suggest making more clear angles, her torso seems to be tense the whole time (your picture).

Well, try these for first, I guess someone better an artist can say more, but this is what hits me. Btw, the superman guy looks great, though I can see you've developed quite a lot. Keep up the good work

They say she looks like a man. I don't get it. I know she does, but I don't know what to do better. Well anyway, thanks to advice on #AGS I tried to do something, I also corrected the pose a bit. dunno then. She seems to grow different each time, which is not what I meant, but hey, I just need a sprite.

Yeah, that's why I'm about to do the pixel art with some other program, but the posture was easier with a real pen imo. And so was colouring, or the program seemed to be very clever in the way the colours turned out.

Though I really don't want to throw this into carbage because I like the sprite-

So I started a game, and got the script almost done, You don't need to know it yet, BUT, I did all my drawing this far with my tablet, since I'm so keen on it at the moment. I realised colouring with pencil-thingie is easier, but yet leaves it unfinished. So after I cut this off, it looked like this

Then I went through dozens of painting programs, and decided it doesn't matter if it's on transparent background, so, I modified it a bit, taking out what seemed to be trash pixels, but now I'm undecided if it's good as it is, or should I even go about giving it clear lines and outlines with pixelling. it'd surely look completely different. I haven't done spriteart for a long while, so I've quite lost my touch, anyhow:

yeah, it's a completely new way of art, making it with your tablet, you never know how a line turns out before you try. That's why I prefer real pencils which I have dozens of here, but this is just practising the tablet. But it's fun, and well, if you make a mistake you can always repair it.

It's all a massive amount of tiny scribbles making up undynamic shapes.

The dynamics in the animation are awesome. It looks so cool. But the sprite isn't ready imo. You should lower the shoulders a lot. Now she looks like she's got a pole up in her arse. check out aussie's paintover and you'll see what I mean.

I think the third effort is an improvement. Without a picture of the actual girl, it's hard to tell how close you are to the model, but I think it looks good. It looks like she lost a little bit of her smile from the original. Not really a criticism, but I guess I'd just prefer the bigger smile.Ã,  Ã,

My comment on her belly button was referring to the left/right position of it. The line marking the center of the shirt should also be the centerline of her torso, so the belly button should pretty much line up underneath the center of the shirt. Right now it looks right-of-center.

Yes, I actually measured that one with a (what's the thing that you draw straight lines with?), and I thinkit's because of the posture, but the shirt line isn't straight, and the belly button isn't in line with it.

ProgZ, get the copyrights to that sprite, and then people could use it to learn stuff, along side with old roger whom they could use in their demo games if they wanted to.

Feel free to paintover these as needed, though I recommend people use these as a reference rather than do a paintover.Ã,  You learn more that way.

explainings: those are pants... I think... it's not really visible in the picture, but I know she has pants like those, so they're pants... Ok, I don't get the flower (something) thing thingie there' but she wore one at that time. Shit I'm having a terrible time with the face... though I think it's getting better all the time... well not all the time, but after the first mod.

So here I was again, playing around with my tablet. This time instead of drawing cute bunnies I decided to drawing something else as cute. So, I got this photo from my friend, and tried to paint the photo with the volito 2 pencil. I just love the way this thing works. Even though it seems my pen is starting to wear out, maybe I push too much. Anyway, pencils are my cup of tea.
Ã,  Ã,  Even though my wrist hurts like hell after 3 hours, I'm quite satisfied. I think I got the spirit of her captured in this. Well, must say, drawing people is much harder than drawing bunnies. I reckon, with people, you really have to get the personality show on the face, while with bunnies it doesn't really matter, they're cute anyway. OK, I hope I did her justice

This looks too much like my house for me to ignore. So I tried painting it so, and to my opinio succeeded. Though I would have wanted to draw my yard, within these limitations it would not have been possible

As far as I recall this was taken after a whole lot of vodka, you see, it was an all inclusive hotel, which meant, free drinks till 11, and for workers like me, until 01 because then they closed the bar.

They get me addicted. But really, the song is a laugh, you can listen to it and never stop, because the song never stops. I love it. And you can see the time, so you can follow how long you've been staring at the screen listening. But if you stop, you have to stop in the middle of the song, and there's something in the human psychology that is oppost to doing this... I guess.
