They're not making money. I was just given a 4 euro discount for the tickets... that'd mean 6 euros each... hmm...

AGS Games in Production / Re: James Peris 2

looks quite nice. I just wish youd post the plot and at least 2 screenies here, just to keep in the rules...

Anywho, I checked into that website... You know, this:
QuoteQué tiene de nuevo: Arreglados todos los errores encontrados. Disponibilidad para jugar en español y en inglés. Menú interactivo de instalación.
Could be as good as: "I love my mother, I hope she is holding a stump so I can take it and meka woody juice of it, incase my shoes are broken."

ehm, I of course mean that I don't understand the language, and I have a good feeling that I speak for most of the people around here... :P

THough I have to salute you, starting a new game the minute the old one is done. I wish everyone did that :D

Critics' Lounge / Re: My first background.

Hello, and welcome to the forums from me too. I see the representation from my city is growing all the time :)

About the background, I'd like to see a more purposeful drawing... Especially with the tiles on the left. but your style is great, and it look sawesome, I'll tell more when I have time.

Easy. MI1 or the Big Red adventure. The latter really radiated awesomeness and had a great atmosphere and music.

The Rumpus Room / Re: The music thread

It's not easy listing all good bands, but my personal, and biggest favorites, well, here goes, from best to the second etc:

-Jethro Tull
-The Flower Kings
-Genesis
-Yes
-Wigwam
-Jefferson Airplane

hmm, I realize how progrock oriented my list is :D Well big deal, I just love these bands. Notice that this list doesn't include some of the best records or the band that made the best song ever :)

I seriously doubt there is any since this view is more like robotic to draw. But, I can make you one later on today if I have time, I've got lots to do, but who knows. it's really all about calculation... how long is this, how wide is that etc.
#2111
To bring this back up. I did some changes again. considered a light source, as it will be noon, there'll be no need for lamplight. The shadows will be long etc. Added a few carpets, plants, a more cozy floor colour after serious reconsideration, and a view from the window. Now I know it's not ready, but it does look better than before, doesn't it?

Any comments, suggestions are most welcome.

I like this idea. In a quizz it's most common, that everyone can't answer every question. now, if you haven't played a certain AGS game, you lack the knowledge, but you might be able to answer all the other questions. and maybe you can win if other people can't answer that one either. It's not about everyone knowing answer to every question. That'd be useless, and of course, quizzes are unfair, someone always wins and others don't.

I really like this idea, the one bad side about it is the huge amount of pms you get for being the judge, though they're removable, so I guess that won't be a problem in a long run.

YAY! this is great news. I look forward to it

yeah, don't know what you mean, but Carmina Burana is the most commonly used in for example Heavy rock, and music that needs lots of tragedy and needs to feel somehow huge... A great piece at that.

haha, that show was awesome!

2 competitions per month makes 24 per year... Where is the problem? I just count 8 between your list and mine...
What problem? I just pointed out there are dozens and dozens of good musicians that deserve this.

We were celebrating LORDI. This is me (I came straight from a poilitcal meeting, hence the SNK 100-yrs badges, I had more in my pocket) and Marko, my friend, amd then he and my other friend Toni, who disappeared for 30 days and returned with a Renault cap and greasy long hair:

There was people (~80 000 actually):

And there was Lordi:

We had this celebration day on friday. It was broadcast nationally. Over 80 000 people came over to celebrate the victory and hear Lordi play, me and my friends included. We dorve 200 kn to see him and then back, then in the morning I had a meeting from 8 am to 16 pm. I was kind of tired.

The President gave Lordi a bronze keyflag to honour his work and the victory. He then played through all his hits. A Guinness world record try was made, with over 80 000 people singing Hard Rock Hallelujah -karaoke. Latest record had been 50 000. 80 000 is more than any public or any at all happening/commotion in Finland had gathered. There were people of all ages. I can't really describe the feeling of proud that was in the air. I think, even more people were watching the show from tv.

We were pretty close to the stage and being a short boy, I could barely manage to see something from behind the tall helsinkians. We also took a few pictures, bloody hell, my friend has a camera but I had to tell him to take a picture all the time because he doesn't quite use it. He just has it in his hand. THen when he gets and idea, he takes one picture that'll end up very shaken and blurry. THis is me with my friend, taken by the other, forced to do that by me. My friend just bought a new camouflage army suit, God knows why, but hence the cap. http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/3919/dsc002992xq.jpg

But now I have to go... politics, you know...

Dude. That was awesome. You're so weird. I mean, how the hell did you do the awesome skycamera. And, didn't it ever worry you that those bad ninjas with the swords and sticks could have killed you? Some cold brains. I admire you! If I send you 10£, will you send me 2 copies, one for my brother too?
