Bloody hell, the one weekend I was not here but home fixing my brother's computer you people go and do this >:(

Ok I admit I went to #AGS after I saw the new forum look, which I then commented on ::) and asked what the f**k is wrong with the forums. Ishmael I recall linking me to this thread, but I really didn't read it until now. Though I would surely have been fooled pretty bad since for the last 10 years April fools day has been so irrelevant for me, I don't recall even noting the day until now. Thanks for bringing the habit back to me :)

 :D

Anyway, I wouldn't do changing the original pictures. At least roger must be left there. That's my opinion... and what one could do is to put the word language, sex, violence, anything next to the picture to make it clearer...

But that claim that I "consider gay anyone who does not make hardcore" is totally silly. Man... If you want to make me unpopular, quote me correctly, there are a lot of politically uncorrect sentences I've signed. No need to invent anything...

Haha, great,  had to comment. Dude, I never meant it was your opinion. It never was a quote. Just relax a bit ok ;) It was just a joke added after the post I did. Oh, and there's a fun story behind all this, but forget about it.

Funny thing, I recall Farlander speaking of Aria and me mentioning she was gay. Was that how you got it? Because I was watching this film just now, Howard Stern show from 2002, don't ask why, and in it Aria said she wasn't gay, in fact she was at that time going out with the Marilyn Manson guitarist. Well, at leas t you believed me. But serisouly, she never made any hard core, peopel who don't do hard core are gay, arent they?

We're usually a year or two after the seasons. But with the latest american idol I think it was shown only two days apart.

Not to mention that we had Survivor season 5 or 6 running just now as the new survivor, so eight weeks is nothing. THe only thing we get live from the USA wsa the Super BowlÃ,  ;D Actually, we don't even get series from England less than 6 months old. For example, Emmerdale is one season behind iirc.

Oh, and yes, Fluke, you're right, it's a crappy show. The first two seasons were enjoyable.

I just woke up to this quiet noise and I wondered, what the devil is this. THen after searching for a while I found out it was coming from my headphones, they were playing bloody S club 7.

To be serious, I'm going to go to my school cafeteria toÃ,  eat some free food that my dad pays in the form of taxes and to buy the new Flower Kings album, but after that I shall try out what you people have suggested. Thanks for helping even if it doesn't work and Seleceus, special thanks for the USB thing. I'll let you people know if I get it working when I come back!

EDIT: I tried the connections Seleceus suggested, changing the mic2 to pin 2 and keeping mic1 in pin1, while ignoring the ground connector. The mic has completely disappeared. I even accidentaly tried the mic1 & 1 the other way around, which didn't do any good. I used to be able to use the mic from the back panel, so it can't be the settings that are wrong. I tried both, and only with skype test call I could hear something, no voice, but some sssshhhshshss, voice while using the front panel socket.

Ish, yes the jumpers were on correctly. and I left lin and rin ar the were.

At the moment I'm completely lost with this.

Yet another edit: So I was searching for the name of my case and found out it was called micro-one 168G which only exists in this web store that doesn't have it anymore, so basically no point googling it. everything has to be so easy, doesn't it?

I know this is a technical subject, but as it's not AGS related and I don't know any other site for this, I thought I'd ask it here.
I have this motherboard http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbdetails.asp?model=m7vit and I have places for USB 2.0, microphone and headset in the front panel. I also have the wires(connectors), but the problem is, I cannot connect them. The thing is, my connectors are name
mic1
mic2
spk-L
spk-R
gnd
rin
lin
Now I know that I have 9 pins to connect them. The manual says to connect them this wai
pin1 - mic inÃ,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã, pin2 - ground
pin3 - mic powerÃ,  Ã,  pin4 - audio power
pin5 - RT line outÃ,  Ã,  pin6 - RT line out
pin7 - reserved
pin9 - LFT line outÃ,  Ã, pin10 - LFT line out
And there is no diagram saying which connector is which. Now I got them correct apart from the microphone connectors, or at least I think, I put them like this:
pin1 - mic1Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã, pin2 - gnd
pin3 - mic2Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã, pin4 - N/A
pin5 - spk-RÃ,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  pin6 - rin
pin7 - N/A
pin9 - spk-LÃ,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã, pin10 - lin
Now I'm not at all sure about this, but the headset seems to be working. Two things, pin 4 was for audio power. There was no such connector in my wireset so I left t empty. Then mic1 and mic2. Which one of them is mic in and which one is mic power. I tried them, mic1 for 1 and mic2 for 3, it did nothing, and I tried them the other way around and it still did nothing.

Then another problem, the USB connectors. There are two connectors, one with the letter G in it indicating 'ground' and the other one has 3 wires in it. the three are USB + 5V, USB-, USB+... the problem is, that is doesn't say which is which. I know that the middle one must be USB- according to the manual but then there are these two wires, red and green, the red one has an arrow init. it first appeared the green one would be USB + 5V, but then I realized that if I turned it 180degrees, the green one would make USB+.

I'm so confused now with this, I would hope one of you had a mobo of the same series or the same one, or at least something similar that would help me with this. I tried every source I could google but found no answer. Thanks.

Had to add mine for public benefit. This will be a fun thing, since quite a lot has happened to me, but I never really hurt myself

I'll start in my childhood when I used to have this little car you could sit on and move it with you feet and use the wheel to turn. Now there might be a reason I don't remember this, but my mom says that it was more than ten times that I went down the 30 steps downstairs with it and ended up crying bad. Some people never learn. Though there's no-no-no-nothing tha-tha-that it did to my bo-body... I suppose....

So then I learned to ride a bicycle. And there was this high hill outside and we used to have fun going down it as fast as we could. That would be me, 5 years old and some boys 4 years older. I remember well that after the downhill there was a road, and after that a well deck which in this case made a perfect jumper for me when my steering failed. Suddenly I couldn't turn the bike and jumped high and landed on my back in the ditch.

Later I was at school, we were doing this bird feeding thingie which required a half sawed plastic pipe. As kids, we shared one with my friend, him sawing the pipe with a huge saw and me holding it with both hands. The saw was so big, he couldn't handle it and almost sawed my thumb off. It bled alot. Yet I was not given stiches just some bandage or so, and had to wear a leatherglove in the junior javelin throw contest the next day... In which I scored silver btw.

Then on 8th grade I had this marvellous idea of going to school with bicycle every day of the year, 7 km x 2. Anyway, this morning it was snowing like hell and it was dark. hAving ridden 30 minutes I was very late and couldn't get any faster. I actually carried my bike for 1 km. At some point there was this long downhill (again), and I started down it as fast as possible, forgetting there was a roadblock for cars down it. All I remember is seeing the block, then falling on my back having flipped over and the bike falling 3 metres away from me. But it didn't hurt. I actually flew whole 5 metres, the tracks were awesome. I guess the snow softened my fall.

Oh, and I broke my brother's little finger for good once and he once took a lot of speed with a swing and accidentaly jumped backwards landing on his back. Which reminds me, I did that once, only, I jumped straight up and landed on straight feet. I couldn't walk for a long time.

Oh, and to make this even more longer, there was this time when I fell in the stairs at school. My friends laughed and the girls were worried. I walked home and it's been swallen for 2 years now :D

I know it seems abit big. Actually I did make it smaller a couple of times so that it would look better, but basically as I checked some pictures with google, it really isn't too big, it's just the "leg" that makes it look as if the torso was way too big. Here's a reference pic I just dug up:
http://www.ravenfarm.com/photos/monarch%20butterfly.jpg
But bloody shite, you were right, they do have 6 feet, in fact, the one in the picture I took reference of didn't show more than four, an the rest two are very small, so I reckon it doesn't matter that much :D I supose the butterfly would look better with a yet smaller torso, but think of the work that'd put me through. Phew, it's good as it is...

This one took me like 2 days to do, but now that it's finnished it shows that it was worth the effort. This is frankly the best comic I have evr drawn and I'm confident that I will win this time!

I really didn't know that girls name

I'd suggest removing the nose pixel. It is not really necessary. Some people have small noses.

agreed

I'm not sure that I agree with this. anyway, I did a little paintover to show you something that people might suggest:

-Gave the poor girl a bust line

:o :o Is the bust line the measure of a woman? What does the "poor" mean? I for one don't require a breastline from women to make tem women! Are you a sexist? Are you making them sexual objects? Only to serve our needs, eh? Answer! It does not make a girl poor if she doesn't have a "bust line", I have meat plenty beautiful girls without big boobs!!!  ;D

Anyway, I hope you realize I'm not serious about that. What Seleceus did made a big difference, more towards feminism. But the bust line doesn't look very much like it should, but that's something to give you a clue. I like your way of drawing the characters
#2258
What would Tuomas do? he would probably try drawing the woman a red mouth indicating her lips. Then he'd probably try making the shoulders a bit more feminine, like not as broad as the others have their's. I would do that too.

Hi there. I was very much as bored as I usually am on Tuesday, so I let everyone know it at #ags and Stickieee suggested I drew a butterfly with some odd program. Now I disliked the program, but somehow liked the idea of drawing a butterfly, and while I was at it, I drew the whole bugger. Anyhow, I decided that since this is basically the first thing I draw for myself that I didn't do in like 5 minutes, I'd put it here and have it rated by the cruel world, you people that is. So remember, this is not for an AGS games, it's a bit too big for my liking and my becoming game, but it is spriteart, right... right?

Well I pixellated it, since I don't yet own a tablet, I'll be keeping to low-res graphics. As a reference picture I used a picture of a Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) from this book I have and I kind of like it. It took me several hours doing it but basically I was chatting all along the way of the production. So, behold the fruit of my intuition and Suomen Luonto: Hyönteiset -book, and feel free to comment, if there is anything you want to say, damn, at least say if it's good or bad or if there's a way I could improve my style in doing sprite art, not just this, it was bloody hard to get this one coloured, I won't be doing it again, but generally speaking... Thank you. Oh, and don't be afraid of the long icky legs, they really do have those, I have studied... and broken a few too. It was the time when Finland still had plains and butterflies and sunny summers :'( ;)
