come to your HOSE tomorrow? hey, you forgot me too from the most-likely-to-come -list... it just depends on what time I do my service...

But hey, about the hose thing... I'd rather not, how about your place instead? Otherwise count me out :D

Just popped in to my head while checking this out at the bg bliz.... It seems a bit odd that the path that goes round the castle, is always wayward with the wall, I think that if someone would walk around it, he wouldn't follow the waal, but the shortest way which would be directly from a tower to another

The first one is SCARY I must say... it's somewhat off place, but so fascinating, that trying to understand it one can't take one's eyes off of it :)Ã,  Hey, maybe you can do some psychedelic adventure and add that one to it, other than the comments earlier, I like it...

The second one... hmmm, ditch the white lines and I definately like the upper pic, but the second one looks as if there was a lot oil spilled on my screen... which I hope isn't the fact here [Tuomas wipes his screen]... no, nothing here :) And admit it, filters, tools such, they suck so deep. I dare you to take a good look out up in the sky and then think wherther it looks like that. It doesn't. so Don't use them as is said earlier...

Neither of the Bgs are bad. Though neither of them is ready... Your ideas are great and I'd like to see them well coloured...

you need to spend more time drawing, and don't hurry it! I spend 5 - 8 hours per background... as I'm sure you can do it quicker, but I want it to be good!

You listen to him.. there's no easy way... hmmm, or you do like I do and spend a week on each one...Ã,  ;D well, soon I'm changing to hand drawn too...

Aagghh, still can't stop looking at the first one... is there some spell in it... there's someone living in that picture!!! argh

we have a background blitz here, and I believe it means Adventure game bgs, am I right? Since this *is* the AGS forums? Thus I'd go with the best functionality, just because I have seen beautiful *pictures* here, very nice artistic impressions, but hardly suitable for a background, apart from an intro or such.

IF we are to develope the rules, that would inspire the competitors to for example create something that they could use in their own game, or perhaps give ideas, then compete on who's game would not be most good looking, but as said, functional. Well, personally I like good graphics, but if it's a hell to play it, I seldom bother myself...

No entry here yet, sorry

I have nothing to say to this song, but I'll say it anyway... figure that out

It still kind of hurts one's eye that the only warm colours in the room are in such a detail as the poster. I mean, it stands out too much being so differently coloured than the rest of the room... As in, the red and black are very strong and sharp colours whereas the rest of the room is mild like a hospital

Sorry to stick in again, but how do you upload your pics here without the coloured backround like Darth's and Floskfinger's? ???

Don't wish to flood, so I continued dthis one wondering here wherther I can even make them transparent with MSPaint and how...?
#2531
that was necessary..
:D Krysis seems to find a sprite to compete in every competition from his game!!! nice...

Well, anyway, here's Geddy Lee playing YYZ with his Fender Jazzbass. 21 colours

here's the guy for real http://www.h5.dion.ne.jp/~bytor/Geddy_Profile.jpg

mmm, my father has a bad habit of reducing my driving skills by not letting me even touch the car, Citroen 95 farmari... piece of shit... but if I borrow my moms... I'm not at all sure about the transportation now... And I hope I'm not inthe fucking army learning discipline and becoming a man at the time of this. Yeah, we Finnish people are complete lusers. We never become men unless we run around in the woods with a rifle. Then we can show off, that I ran two km:s more than you, I'm a better person. Well fuck the whole country, I refuse to carry any kind of weapon!

huh, it's 1:15 am... anyway...

no way :D dude, chill out! I was kidding for christs sake!   now take a dep breath and read what you said earlier... You're cooking here. I rest my case, I don't want to get into this fight, and don't tell me it's not a fight because I can read!!!

btw, define bad person and good person, then tell someone he is bad and punish him, or he's good and don't ... Isn't that how the system works... anyway, I don't want to get in to this, and neither does FlukeBlake I bet...

I would gladly do the job, but I don't consider me a good example...Ã,  :-\

I think nobody does anymore :D well, to return to offtopic, I find it rather intriguing that you reckon the world would be a better place if we all lived in fear... Kill all who say no to the king and no-one shall... might work too :) [place a matter of ethics here]

Now that I found Victor Loomes again it must be it and The Big Red Adventure... something very very nostalgic.

If I didn't remember those two, I'd surely go for MI1 or Zak, which was the first I played through

Don't much know if this fits the somewhat hostile atmosphere of this thread, but I'd sure like to hear about the vacation when it's over... hearing one's impressions and such would be interesting. Some change to the oncoming cold winterseason and hard schoolwork that is ;)
Fluke, once you get back and if these ragamuffins wouldn't mind, you could at least tell us wherther the land/island whatever it was again is actually worth visiting or not... Dunno if you have a camera, but you know the drill.

But I must agree with the fact that an ongoing list of happenings will eventually lead to filling the forums frontpage with too many open threads and conversations... hmmm, and preferably think before posting if the thread would arouse conversation or just be there for nothing... usually people have ideas, they just need something to stimulate them. Let's assume the flag (someone mentioned a flag?) didn't because they did not know what it was for. that's why I couldn't give any C&C...

Farlander, I follow the limits because I can't keep the car in control :D no, actually it's easier to drive at 80km/h when other people are driving the same 80km/h too

Krysis, PayluB too, you know there are a lot more than those two rooms that have a window and a door? At least mine does, and wait... oh, there's a lamp too hanging from the roof. Well how peculiar is that...
Please, cupboard, computer, bed, bunny and a teddy added, then say it's copied... Just to point out... :P

Let's face it. Today's people are only satisfied with action and graphics. The same thing about movies. Most of them are such where a guy runs a gun in his hand and shouts something like: "I'll blow you fu***ng head off!". And while he does that, either a huge wave or an army of millions is running behind him. It's all bullshit, that's what I think, but who cares as long as the wide public likes it.

Are adventure games art then? More art than others? People tend to despise all artistic... ONe philosopher said it quite well, can't remember his name though. He said that tyhe modern world has become so hectic that an individual is forced to seek for ultimate and BRIEF pleasures such as sex, alcohol, and so, for he hasn't got the time to enjoy life... He said that if hang over came before the euphoria, people would concider being drunk as a blessed stage and only those who are willing to suffer for it are to achieve it.
People are lazy, and the don't want to look at still pictures anymore, that's what I reckon...

Hmm... I don't know if this quite answers the question, but I added some thoughts to it for sure. :D

Nightwish is Finnish \O/ and I too listened to them until the bassist came in and ruined their style and their songs! Because I really think he did... some older records suggested
