It's the eleventh (11th) day... I started this thread after having worn same socks for a week , of was it too at 3rd of the same month. Now, let's do some statistics...  hmmm, no, don't smell.... hmmm, still in perfect shape, not worn out... haven't even taken them off at nights. Appears I was right... :D

Ehm, people, expecially girls, please don't characterize me on this thread, I do go to shower every morning, and I do use deodorant ;)... and such... brush my teeth and... yeah...

[Back to topic]In my world, ehm, land that is, you just can't say things like God bless you, in the words actual meaning or anything related to you believeing in God... For example if I say after an accident: "Thank you God they are safe!", people will look at me like I'm a freaking believer, like keep your God at home... Doesn't quite fit the Finnish vocabulary that word God.

You can say oh for God's sake, or oh Jesus christ what the f**k is going on?! And this won't be regarded as nothing else but common articulation. I for one am alike. we do feel odd about religious speeches unless in church.[/Back to topic]

Just scroll the page up and then down again, that worked for me. The loop should start over, but keep an eye on it because it doesn't repeat itself... I you miss, just scroll back and forth again. As I said, worked for me...

QuoteAlmost to forget BLACK peopleÃ,  You brought them from Africa as slaves is or was in the world worstest thing than that. And now they are better than you.

This is one thing that has always bugged me ... why is America singled out as the 'bad guy' for having slavery when it's a practice that has existed in most cultures, at some point, since the dawn of time?Ã,  It's hyprocritical.

That, my friend would probably be because the civil war was a turning point and was therefor written in every history book. Sure they tell about slavery everywhere, but not about a fight that ended it. But it is remembered the wrong way, which is bad. Since that war, I (at least) don't recall slavery been done. Thank God for that, even though I'm not a believer...

And LJUBI you both concider that! phew. I'm actually defending America here :o

Höm, not to take sides, I just remembered, that America was in fact the last to let slavery go... Not quite something you'd expect from a "sophisticated" state...

Rharpe, I thought I cought a spite of that southern state accent there ;) Kansas eh...

Myself I used ACID Pro 4,0 program and my Philips singing mike, but recording as loud as I could without making the voice break, and then converting it out as loud as possible again, I still couldn't make it louder... these have always been difficult, you know. Too quiet and then a little hiss here and there will make the voice break.

Whatsoever, if I was to vote, I'd place my on PyroMonkey. As far as I recall he was the best... after me of course!!!

Well, this sounds nice indeed, but as there probably wouldn't be no specific order, there'd be lots of people sending the same continuance, the next frame. I'd get frustrated, having drawn a frame and the noticing it was already done. But if you think the idea can be carried out, the I'm game...

Kyoto's only purpose is to give people the impression their governments are doing something. It hasn't reduced emissions a bit.

Yeah, hasn't reduced, but hasn't either produced more, rather stopping it, and that's the most important, to stop it first, maybe then reducing it

I have seen the light! I have found the ultimate solution, so here goes... You know how you hate it when all your socks are dirty or in the washing machine. Then you have nothing to wear and you have to take ones that are all sweaty and smelling. Or you may find a clean, flowery smelling pair of socks and wear them just to realize there's a huge hole in both of them.

I know this happens to you all, I've been there too, and it bugsÃ,  me. But no longer. I've been wearing the same socks now for two weeks. That's right, My granny knitted me a pair of woolly socks. The thing about wool is that they are nice and cozy, soft, and the breathe. And in I keep them during the night too, the keep me warm. And the best thing about it, they never get dirty. The do not absorb sweat or any scents ar normal fabric, the more likely repel all kinds of "unwanted material". You know, you could use them the whole winter, and if they wear off, they are easy to repair.

Why spend all your money on socks and socks and socks, if you could live a happy life with only 1 pair a year? Wool's the answer!

Oh my, what is it you yanks have done that makes God punish you with these hurricanes all the time?

It was the agreement in Kioto, for reducing pollution, (don't know the official name). That one was ignored, selfishness, and now it comes back to you.

But all my sympathy goes to people there who cannot affect their own lifes. I know that if this disaster ever is gone, there will be people dying still, they can't buy housees, nor food, the place is dwelling with diseases, the people have lots everything they have, it's a deathtrap. The same thing with the tsunami, there will be thousands of deaths afterward, and the "list" of the dead will never be finished. This sickens me so much, and it's hard to watch the television, what is happening out there...
