Woo Hoo, I won!! I won!!!Ã,  :D No seriously I'm honored considering I completed my entry in such a short time to make the deadline and there were some other good entries. I hope that I can interest more people in participating with the next comp topic and sprite whatever they may be. Thanks Neil Dnuma and all participants, you keep this comp going.

Well, I wanted to enter something although I haven't had time to do a good entry, so here it is. I messed up some of the colors so I couldn't make the background transparent and I had to use the green.

Well I guess that's enough clowning around now lets see which clown act stole the show:
*long intense drum roll*

Neil Dnuma â€" I loved your animation overall and the cannon was original. I really liked the details from the slight shift of the cannon when Clowny gets in to the sparks and clouds of smoke. The crowd background and the flips out of the cannon were a bonus as well.

BaRoN â€" I thought it was funny the way you had Clowny use his own nose as a part of his juggling act and how it seemed as if he were trying on different noses throughout the animation. Way to spice up an ordinary act!

1st Place: Neil Dnuma

2nd Place: BaRoN

;D Thanks for entering and I look forward to the next competition from Neil Dnuma.

P.S. Sorry about the trophies, for some reason that I couldn't determine they aren't appearing on the site correctly.

Only a couple of days left until the end of the competition. I would love need to see more entries and thanks to BaRoN for expressing how I felt and still do at the moment, but I was looking forward to your entry as well(maybe you're just putting finishing touches on it). Also gypsysnail there's still time and I would love to see what you come up with. Ã, :'( Ã, I sadly think my favorite competition is dying. Please save this competition people!!!Ã,  ;D

Theme: Clowning Around

- Your task is to teach Clowny an entertaining clown act for his upcoming show using at least one prop.
- You do not have to use the props provided, feel free to create your own.
- You can alter the shape, size or color of any of the objects or duplicate them if necessary.

Ex. Clowny can jump and do flips on the trampoline, he can juggle with balls or other objects, he can squirt water from a flower, climb out of a tiny car…(you get the point)

INTRODUCING*drum roll*…
Clowny the Clown:

***There will be TROPHIES!!!***

;DÃ,  Ã, Thanks BaRoN for the wonderful flashing golden heart. The animation within it is appreciated considering the type of competition this is and I think it's very funny & great that you took the time to gender-tailor the trophies. I have some ideas flowing for the next competition so look out for it in the next couple of days.

As promised here's my entry, which didn't turn out completely how I envisioned, but I was starting to spend too much time on it so here it is and now it's time to get back to my real work although it was lots of fun doing this.

As you'll notice while listening to my entry(if you can bear to), I have no idea what I'm doing. I got some crappy progam and just started hitting keys, but I assume I'll be able to learn more about creating a decent piece by the end of the next comp.

Sorry Little Fellow

;DÃ,  Ã, O it feels so great to accept this award. Even though there were limited entries, I am so honored to have this trophy and I am eager to display it. Thank you Postmodern_Boy for providing such a good topic and characters. Don't feel down because of the small response to the competition, I think people were just intimidated.

Well, I guess I'm ready for BaRon to bring on the next one so I can improve my skills and actually complete walk and talk cycles this time(if applicable).

It's not what I imagined but it's my entry. I didn't know what I was getting myself into being that this is my 1st animation competition so next time I guess I won't wait til the last minute.

I really don't understand why there aren't more entries with these wonderful sprites.

It's a bird...It's a plane...NO it's Money Man. Heeeeeere to save the day!!! LOL(I'm way too silly for this stuff or maybe just tired)

13 colors + transparency

Yeah he may seem pretty cheesy, but he can buy his way out of any crime, meaning bribe the villains so they stop doing whatever naughty things they're doing. As a prince and the only heir to the Supa-Powa throne he can pretty much do whatever he wants or nothing at all, but he gets bored so he "fights" crime.
O yeah isn't this decoder ring a beaut:
It reminds me of, what I believe to be, the greatest Christmas movie of all time. "Ralphie you'll shoot your eye out & don't forget to drink your Ovaltine." LOL

Yay my first Sprite/Rabbit Bear and Chicken Jam!!!

I don't believe that the guidelines were too limiting on the storyline. Personally I thought of many things to be the plot of an entry. It was my procrastination that was my downfall because I truly intended to enter, but o well maybe next time.

;D Thanks Pablo I'm, sadly, filled with more joy than if I would have won, but I knew I had no chance and I got a trophy anyway, yay me!!! I shall display it proudly.

Here is my entry: Strength

It is still Photoshopping your just editing more than one photo and piecing them together in this case instead of just fooling around with one given photo.
#97
Here is my entry: a crazy looking bird
9 colors & transparency

I didn't alter the outline that much and I did have fun .jpgdoing it although it came out mediocre, but this is my 1st entry in a competition on the site so hopefully I'll improve.

O and I brush & floss twice a day. *Thanks OCD!... I love you, lol.*
