Critics' Lounge / Re: Office Background

I'm not sure if this was already said, but have you noticed that the windows in the houses in the background aren't in line with the roof...

Well, I don't have much to add to everything before me... Still great quality, not totally as, eh, ground-breaking as I had anticipated, but still just amazing work.

About the whole game:
Spoiler
I kinda liked the not-so-puzzle-packed, but more like wandering around-thingie you had there, though maybe it missed a few puzzles, at least something in the end, some "grand finale" or something like that...

Why, oh why didn't he wear his old clothes, even for just a bit? I'm quite disappointed... It's a trademark...

Nothing else even a bit new to add...

Thank you.

Oh didnt know that, makes sense.
Unless you know him, I, and especially DC I guess, would've been quite surprised if you would've known (unless of course he's said it here somewhere...).

Oh yeah, finally! Ooh, I've been waiting for this (I hope your ego doesn't get too big...)

I'll be back with comments...

I think it still has the problem, and in my opinion it's even worse now  :) The house seems to be quite big, but like this it looks about maybe 1/4 of it's actual size. The Fence should also het alot smaller...

Sounds good to me...

I hear it well.

Very nice... I found the background a bit repetitive, but it might be just me. Overall excellent, has a nice feel.

Hmm... I'd also curve the horizon a bit, and maybe a bit (just a bit) blurrier, it's too straight and sharp now... Or maybe the other one just, eh, dramatizes the other...

So, how's this coming up, if you don't mind me asking?

Well the logs sould be in a very dark place, as the fireplace has a wall facing it... Not nearly enough shadowed that part...

the game is now named "Wrath of the Ninja"
just thought you should know.Ã,  ;D
I'd keep it in Night of the Ninja, as Wrath of the Ninja is quite a clichéd name. In my opinion of course.

But the game looks interesting!

I'm just wondering, if the oceans have dried up, why aren't there any buildings there?
#53
If you want to check out what a planet covered in buildings might look like, check out Taris from KotOR...

The characters in the screenshot look great! Especially the man.

hi Not Yet,

Is this with the original version?  Or the new one?

As for your problem...

Spoiler

Doc Love is looking to vent out his frustrations on KISS.  Surely there's something you can give him?
[close]
It's the old version, I think.

Thanks BTW... I had tried that several times, but I couldn't get the thing highlighted, so I figured it's not important...
#56
Hmm... This is rather interesting... I don't hear any music in the game, but when I have it going and switch back to Windows, it suddenly starts playing... At least in the bar.

And umm...
Spoiler
I've tried to get Dr. Love to do something about the flower, but he just says it'd cost too much... What to do?

Ooh! Another BJ! When I saw the thread my leg started twitching... Can't wait! And if you're saying it's out in January, jolly fast ol' chap!

But what the-? A different outfit? I hope it's not on for too long... And that it's at least as stylish!

P.S. Are there going to be trailer(s) like you had in the last game to be expected?

About the original alien, I'd actually have its eyes as they were originally, plain black. It's creepier that way, the second way is just, well, cute, not creepy in any way...

What do you do after you have the "big idea" to your game and you need to start creating the "game itself". Do you then start developing the story or backgrounds or certain puzzles you want to have in the game or what? And how do you go on from there? You can go in as deep as you want, just tell something...

Also, when you're developing the story, do you, after having the main plot, start deepening it step-by-step, or make the thing ready the first time, with all the discussions and all.

I hope I'm making any sense here...Ã,  :P

Heh, listening right now. Excellent.

Do you have a list of the songs somewhere? I'd really like to see it... I might even be able to give something new...

There's a list of all the songs in our forums in The Inventory section. But right now our radio plays only some of the songs that we have available for some reason that I am not aware of. Our webmaster is kind of busy right now preparing the forum party (check the other thread about that) so he will take care of it as soon as he finds some time. We will also be featuring a special programme this coming week (probably) presenting the soundtrack of Runaway.

What new were you thinking of submitting?
Well I have quite a lot of GK music, especially GK3...

There's this site for GK3 music BTW: http://www.students.tut.fi/~judine/gk3/music.html
