Nope, I just don't get it...Those clues didn't give much to me... The first one was the best one for me, but that actually didn't help with the puzzle itself...

You would be right if it was an airplane, but I don't think that's true of helicopters. Copters "lean" forward in order to move in that direction.
Yep, that's right  :=

Great game! I'd like some help though.
Spoiler
I've search the doctor's files and used the whistle on the dog but I don't know what to do when the artist walks towards the dog, or with what I've found in the files.

Spoiler

open your notebook, and click with the "2 to heaven" on the book. Now you can do something else when the artist shouts at the dog and the lady!

Critics' Lounge / First character
Sun 22/08/2004 11:46:47
Well, I've finally finished my first character. I did it in paint and I didn't have much time to work on it, so it took me quite a lot of time. I also couldn't get it as a png, so it's just a bmp, sorry 'bout that to those who care. But anyways, it's here: http://www.2dadventure.com/ags/Kopio_Char..bmp

So, what do you think?

P.S. Paintovers (and such) are more than welcome ;)

That original pic is way too blocky. You've got to make it more accurate and detailed. It doesn't fit that banner.

Hmm... Are you sure you need the pickaxe on this?

You just click on the hand and then on the area and it'll work!
As I did mention...  ;)

Oh yeah, it's a template... Thanks.

I've downloaded a GUI (of BASS if you must know), but after unzipping it and trying to import it to a game, I don't see the files on the list. What could be the problem? :-\

sorry for reviving this, but I just found a funny little bug there, though I'm not sure if you knew about it. Anyways, if you go to the school, there's a little part of the shed you can click on. If you use the hand on it, you first jump to a place or two on the current room, the you're teleported literally on shed door B, and can't do anything... So again, if this was useless to post here, sorry 'bout that...

I saw that stuff said in another thread by someone else... Still, doesn't make sense

The Rumpus Room / Re: How did you find AGS?
Tue 10/08/2004 18:03:50
Well I was looking at adventuregamers.com 's underground games-section, and checked out some game (possibly Ben Jordan 1) and then was directed here by a link... Then gazed around and saw that it was good! And then decided one day I'd make something out of it! Wich I still haven't... :P Just a little by little... I really should gather myself up and focus on this for a few days straight...

Hmm... If just to say a few quickly, Gabriel Knight 3, Outcast, Knights of the Old Republic, I guess Halo, Shogun: Total War... I just realized all (or at least most) of the games have some of the best music in all games...

Not sure if the spoiler code works...

I've got Jon's mum to cook the soup, got Guido and Arlene to assist me, completed the pipe puzzle. Now what??? I can't use the phone, Jon's still being a lazy a$$ in the bath, and the nurse wouldn't do anything either. Can someone tell me what to do?

Looks like all four cats (you and three others) aren't ready to start... ;)

And about the pipe-puzzle:
Spoiler
First one quick note: This isn't really 'a puzzle', more like arcade, so it's about strategy and quick thinking, not solving anything (well in a way solving, but... I won't get into that)

OK, here's it shortly: You have to get the water from the start, to the end parts (if you don't figure out which ones, I'll post it in the end of this...)

A bit longer: Have understood all the buttons? At least the arrows above/left to the puzzle. I first didn't understand anything about it, but then finally I understuud that the arrows move you around the puzzle area (I didn't know it was bigger than what was on the screen)

Anyways, the puzzle is just a basic version of the old "pipes", where you have to attach the pipe-parts you get to the endings, before the water cming from the start comes to the end. As you scroll around the screen, you'll notice a few endings. They are however smaller than the basic green parts. There's that one button that can switch the pipe size.

So. There's that one part that you must get the green pipe, so you can start getting the water to the red pipes. I'd suggest you first get the green pipes into that, before you start doing anything with the red. Remember, you don't have to use all of the parts on your system, just dump the useless ones somewhere out of the way. When you've connected the green pipes to the "divider" You move along to the red pipes. This is a bit harder, as you have to manage two pipes at the same time. When you get here, you should check quickly where the endings are. If you've got time, try to concentrate on getting one pipe first clear, so it'll be easier to manage just one. Also, if you have time, start from the other end too more or less...

And if you don't know where to end the pipelines, they are the stages, wich are..................... A1 and A2

Well, I hope I made some sense there and didn't leave any good strategies out.

It's great too, except the shade might be a little bit odd, if the ghost is transparent... At least the shadow shouldn't be so dark or something...

Well, the main problem is that your ark isn't in perspective. A shape like this would be more suitable:

You'd want the sides to be a little more parallel to the edges of your room, & obviously you can add the detail, then it should look a little more believable :)
Yeah, that's what I meant too :)
