Well, psirens could work in the right game, yes.
But the sirens/siren... thing... from Ducktales would be more fitting given the ideas I've come up with the last hour. Though I have a feeling I will end up with something closer to the herpes harpies from Hercules.

I personally prefer psirens.

I am saddened by the fact that the rp aspect got mostly dropped. I was enjoying playing a skeptic who debunked things despite/because of having psychic powers. I kind of wanted to explore how something about the island made his powers more pronounced or something.

I also kind of want to see a group project game made from this experience...

Anyone else bought any movies for October? I've bought The Babadook, Daybreakers, Silver Bullet, The Cabin in the Woods, Otis, a 5 movie collection, and The Sixth Sense.

This weekend is supposed to actually be the start of reasonable temperatures. Now I can actually have a title screen and some random npcs.

Today's goals: Make the remaining graphics with minimal detail and finish up the main coding/dialog trees.
Tomorrow's goals: Add whatever finishing touches I have time and energy for, and test game several times.

And if we get the extension, I will add more detail to the backgrounds and at least make a special animation for the ending scene.
