The idea is actually something he talked about in May. And was literally just his cat calling him Jacob and telling him to buy pizza.
And there's nothing wrong with a talking cat. It's just that Fran Bow starts with a talking cat and Coraline also has a talking cat. So I just have to make sure to not having anything too close to either one.

Congratulations on getting this far in your game.

How did I miss it being The Lost Boys? It's my favorite vampire movie. But it does at least confirm the California flag.

But I am quite certain I haven't seen this movie with Edward Herrmann. So I'm just going to randomly guess Critical Care.

Looking at the flags, I'm 95% sure the one on the right isn't an American flag. It's possible it could be a California flag.
The one on the left could be virtually any flag with red and white in it...
Absolutely nothing about the movie looks familiar to me. So I'm just going to guess Cannery Row since it's an 80s movie, set in California, and I haven't seen it.

Yeah, that looks better.

Well, alright.

Ohh, okay. Then definitely keep love out of it.

And unless I can think of a better solution, I think I'm going to just adapt an idea a friend had from a dream. The biggest issue with it will be making sure it's not too close in tone to Fran Bow since it does have a talking cat.

I'm kind of at a crossroads myself. I have 3 options at this point really. I could condense my story, I could end it with a to be continued or whatever, or I could just make a shorter and simpler game for this month and wait to do this one when I can fully flesh it out.

Slasher - 2 things to point out. The actual saying is the love of money is the root of all evil. But it's one of those things that's become as acceptable as people saying I could care less instead of I couldn't care less. So it's more of a nitpicky thing.
And the other is that Give it too me should be Give it to me.
But glad to see you back and already working on your game again.

Okay, perhaps I was wrong. I guess he is iconic to some. And it could be my personal feelings about the movies and the fact I haven't seen anyone dressed as him at the local Con.

The colors for what I assume are steps don't seem to fit with the rest to me. My brain keeps wanting to process them as some kind of awning, but the placement tells me they're most likely steps.

Well, I haven't seen Django Unchained (not a fan of westerns), so I'm not sure how similar the character is to the 1966 spaghetti western called Django. Wikipedia says the character has appeared in 31 movies, official and unofficial.
Don Draper was from Mad Men (which I've also never seen), a tv series.

So Mandle's point still seems to be mostly holding up.
And I'd argue against Jack Sparrow being quite as iconic of a character as ones from the 80s and 90s. Is anyone over 10 in any way excited about the newer Pirates movies? Do people still quote lines from any of the movies?

Guess this means last call for wolfsbane mojitos.
#1312
Hey, this talk of bar songs led me to a thought. Dogs have much better hearing than humans, so it would reason that wolves and werewolves would too. I don't suppose anyone has some bagpipes?
#1313
Well, I guess since it looks like getting drunk on wolfsbane mojitos is the most active we're going to get, there isn't too much need for people to interact. Of course since a werewolf will probably play jump rope with someone's entrails soon, it might be a good time to say good bye or something. Or a sing a long works too.
Take one down and pass it around.

I proved my own point about not judging by an avatar. What I thought to be a robot bear is apparently a robot dog suit worn by a chimp.
Let us all eat, drink, and be merry for I have seen Harry Potter Jr. hugging a robot dog chimp.
#1315
Exactly. While dayowlron and I have been quite loud.

Yes, judging by avatar alone could be bad. Otherwise I might assume you're the spawn of a Ro-Bear Berbil and an Ewok. And that thought in and of itself is frightening. Besides, vampire wombats prefer marsupials and the occasional monotreme.
#1316
I figure the wolfsbane would be what's poisonous. Though it might not hurt if we also wear silver crosses. At the least those might get caught in the werewolf's throat.

Cassie, I think that dayowlron and I are probably the ones you should fear least.
At this point I'd think Selmiak, Riaise, or PrivateerPuddin are more suspicious.
#1317
Wow, that's a lot of ifs. Sounds like we're basically screwed.
Anyone want to join me in some wolfsbane mojitos until we can find a plan that doesn't rely entirely on luck? If I'm going to be eaten by a werewolf tonight, I want to at least give it major indigestion.
#1318
Well, I wasn't suggesting any one person to conduct tests. More of a taking turns kind of thing. And sure, the seer is the only one who can tell 100% sure who is a werewolf, that doesn't mean we can't at least make attempts at making educated guesses.
Unfortunately there's no good solution at the moment. I don't see locks being much good against something able to rip a sheep apart like it's a loaf of bread.
Of course we could just all get drunk and at the least it would make it less painful for whoever gets ripped apart tonight...
#1319
Not lynching anyone means that everyone at least gets to live a bit longer. But it also means someone is likely to watch in agony as a werewolf snacks on their liver.
This is why I want a test of some sort. Something that normal people might not like, but wouldn't be fatal. But would be something a werewolf would like even less and might even somehow blow their cover.
What about smoking wolfsbane?

I assume you mean Space: Above And Beyond.
What else would you expect from Fox? The X-Files is pretty much the only sci fi series they made that did't get cancelled too soon. And Alien Nation is the only one fortunate to get multiple movies to tie up most of the loose ends.
