I will try to use the extra time wisely. It will be useful since in the last few minutes the idea I had for an abduction game has ballooned into something much more.

Despite the fact I don't remember the characters, there's something that tells me it's Charles in Charge.

I say theoretically, though, because I don't recall seeing any adventure game that actually has a fully dynamic context menu.
I attempted to do one last month. It didn't go too far because I lacked the scripting knowledge to do so. It was just text used as objects that appeared near the hotspot that was clicked on. It was clunky and would have caused issues if implemented in more than one room.

Eh, demo is better than nothing.

I'm going quantity over quality with mine. I just started the rpg portion of mine on Friday and it's going to be more proof of concept than anything else. And I haven't even started on the email or Alien portions yet...

2 out of 3 isn't bad. But no, not Frankenstein.

Peewee's Big Adventure.

Is there a specific reason to want to use a character as the boat?
I'd think it would be easier to use an object, dialog, or something to change your character's animation view to being on a boat. And once it stops, change to another animation view for the fishing.

Oh, gaga... That reminds me of something else I had lying around. I got it from a table on a planet I'm not allowed to speak of. It was supposed to be a super rare Lady Gaga music collection that I thought I could sell elsewhere for a huge profit. Of course it turned out to not only be Lady Baba instead, but it's not even a format supported by modern sound devices.

Did I hear EVA? That reminds me. I picked this up from a bargain bin somewhere on Ganymede. It's an instant EVA suit, just add water. I'm kind of reluctant to part with it, but I'm pretty sure it has a hole in it. Maybe it can be repaired.

I vaguely remember seeing the episode now that HBO is mentioned. This means it was one of the shows I watched last year when I had a free trial of HBO Go.
I'm guessing Extras.

Mandle: be a tart and offer Fester something (laugh)
I can't stop laughing after seeing that. I'm guessing/hoping that means something different where you're at, otherwise this coloring ball took a completely different turn...
Edit:
Here's something picked up from a fueling station in the Crab Nebula. All I could understand was that it's supposed to protect against space herpes.

And this is something I picked up at a swap meet on Rigel V. It's supposed to be some kind of handheld gaming device, but I never could get it to power on. Maybe someone else can find the right size batteries.

Guess pretty everyone expended their time, energy, and creativity for month.
I know that I'm struggling to get anything done. But I promise I will have something for this month. Even if it's just sending and receiving 1 email and having a rock/paper/scissors minigame...

The new image tells me 2 things. It most likely takes place in America before 1995 and that I don't think I've seen it.
But I'm making one more guess anyway. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.

Huh... Now that Toxic Avenger was brought up, it does look a bit like if Lloyd Kaufman was made into a demon.
I don't think this is right either, but... Fire City: End of Days?

This makes me really think of Nightbreed. But I don't remember it from the original movie. So... Nightbreed: Director's Cut?

I played it 4 more times this afternoon and edited my comment on the MAGs thread. I don't have too much to say since I died fairly quickly 3 of the times. And I got stuck after my second battle and was was swarmed by enemies the first time I played today. It may have been an issue due to there not being a Linux build and I just copied the needed files. The other 3 times I played using the exe via Wine instead and things went smoother.
I will give it a few more tries and comment more if I get far enough to be needed.
