I'm just going to make this one fairly easy.

Looks nice. I should probably actually create my first background soon...

Nope. This isn't a movie adaptation of anything.

It is a horror movie and it has a stupid name with a play on words. Something about a horrifying chicken. Dont remember the actual title though.
I'm giving you 3 hours to post something since you knew the movie, just not the name. Otherwise I'll post something since I did know the name, but nothing else about the movie.

Oh, they finally remade Lost in Space? Personally I think the last film was not that bad, so its failure in spinning off to TV land was unfortunate.
Yes, it's a Netflix series. It's a gritty reboot. It's definitely better than the movie. Depending on your level of nostalgia, it could even be considered better than the original series.

Nothing about it looks like Earth 2 to me. The vehicles are similar, but not quite right. And I don't remember anyone in Earth 2 wearing shorts. And looking deeper, I think the vehicles aren't military enough to be Terra Nova.
I'm now thinking it might be Lost in Space.

Terra Nova?

The name Ebeneezer Grinch makes me want to see a Dr. Seuss version of The Christmas Carol. Will there at least be Dr. Seuss style rhyming?

As for my game, I have a base gui made and base programming for the buttons on it. Next step is making some elves.

Poultrygeist? Huh, Ron Jeremy actually is in that movie. If it's right, the credit should go to dayowlron.

I've given enough thought that I can safely say I will be trying to make an elf based game inspired by games like The Lost Vikings, Gobliins, and Puzzle Bots.

As many submissions as there are, I've decided I'm not going to try to rush an inferior product.
Good luck to all, I look forward to playing your games.
#835
I'll try to have something up in 10-13 hrs.
#836
Good. Now I don't have to limit myself to the whack-a-crow game and the Dough War can commence. King Kleaver thanks you.
#837
Thanks, but I'm not sure anyone could help me too much at this point. I'll just have to see what I can get done by whatever deadline is final.
#838
I second the extension. It would give me time to actually make something playable. Tomorrow's deadline would mean only one location and possibly a whack a mole type mini game. Having the weekend to work would mean being able to have actual dialog and a conflict to resolve.

Of all the slasher movies based on holidays, Black Friday is one of the last I would have expected. Unless it involved mauling at a mall...

There's a 50/50 chance of if I actually get anything finished before the deadline.
#840
Indeed. But luckily I already have most of the needed sprites already done or mostly done. And I'm going to use a made up location/ideas that didn't quite fit for the Last Magic of Oz. It's based on when you mentioned Time Management.
