Mandle got it right. It's definitely the blacksmith from Return to Zork. Return to Zork was my first FMV adventure game.

Captain Carver's Carnival Curios by VampireWombatSpoiler
It's a very neat idea, but it was a bit disappointing that there was no graphics for the map screen.[close]
Quote from: Danvzare on Fri 02/11/2018 15:35:50But the second half is kind of fun. Especially if you were to mix some of the footage into Beetlejuice to create a kind of sequel where Charles get possessed. Maybe use some footage from Transylvania 6-5000...
Well to be honest, I like Howard the Duck as well. At least the first half. I've never watched the others you mentioned.
Quote from: ClickClickClick on Thu 01/11/2018 23:43:53If it helps, I actually like the 3 movies I mentioned. And Howard the Duck is sitting on a shelf next to my X-Men movies.
Hey, no shit-talking Howard the Duck.
Quote from: Mandle on Thu 01/11/2018 22:38:16I don't know... I think I'd prefer to watch a marathon of Howard the Duck, Pluto Nash, and Tank Girl.
WWW has a bad rep, but I rewatched it recently on cable and actually had a pretty good time with it.
I think it flopped hard because Will Smith was fresh off of "MIB" and Kevin Kline was at his height of comedic fame after "A Fish Called Wanda" and "Dave" and WWW certainly can't live up to any of those movies.
But it was so creative with all the alternate history and steampunk tech that I found it quite charming on a second look.
Quote from: dayowlron on Thu 01/11/2018 17:47:54I would never subject anyone to that. Especially myself.
Wild wild west?
